1983 Mazda GLC hatchback white w/blue interior.

Talk about being the man in HS my junior year, man ol man. Two 15' bumpers in the hatch, full range sounding like pure azz. Sony pull out radio, blue sheepskin seat covers (faux). Talk about HIGH STYLING, I love 1989.

Wow, what are the odds - my first car was blue 1976 Datsun B210! I admit, it was a hunk of junk, but a free hunk of junk given to me by a family friend. I drove the hell out of it, never changing the oil, never washing it. It was a beater that wouldn't die. I cringe when I look back on how I treated that car, but I didn't know any better at 17.

Oh and the looks of it?, it looked brand spanking new.

This is a 75' Chevelle/Malibu Classic, mine actually said both, LOL! It said Chevelle in the grill and Malibu Classic on the front fenders. MIne DID NOT look like this, far, far from it. It was dark blue with a white vinyl top and the rear quarters were VERY rusty! I sprayed them with undercoating because it looked better than the rust. I also painted the gas tank, rearend and most of the frame white, why....because I was 16 and I saw others do it, LOL! I ended up with Vette rallies on the rear w/ some N50's and Monte Carlo rallies on the front with some 235/60's, see the transition between the old and new here. I blackened out the grill and headlights to give it a "meaner" look, added an SS badge to the grill and then had 67 Super Sport badges added to the front fenders, "riced" it out and didn't even know I didIm the MAN

I had a set of headers added with turbo mufflers bolted directly to them, no piping and they dumped right behind the front seats, this could explain things now that I think about it, LOL! The car had a 350 2 barrel but I ofcoarse flipped the air cleaner lid upside down to give it that "4 barrel sound". I remember blowing the TH350 turbo trans and having electrical issues because of the headers and the car died on 8 mile road and was slid into, still driveable but I sold the car soon after that for $350.

My late Dad traded a rifle for the car, it was my first car and I even remember the first thing I did with the car when I got my license, plates and insurance. Myself and a couple buddy's drove to Eastland Mall and bought tickets for the upcoming Ozzy and Metallica concertIm the MAN
