Whats the go-to wash mitt now days?

This is what I use. Bought the exact same ones.

For years I was willing to die on a hill made of chenille wash mitts and felt the tighter woven variety were dangerous and/or not any better. Then I tried them. I now think they are softer and and travel more smoothly across the surface of the paint. Cleaning ability is same or better, and I no longer have any any worries about debris getting caught in them any worse than the chenille mits.

If I was to buy more, I'd probably get the pad style versions. I've never put my hand inside a mitt. I always grab it out of the bucket and just hold on to the top side of it.

Well i prefer the mitts over the pads as i dont put them in the dryer. After they go through the washer i hand them up to dry by the cuff.

I also dont put my hand inside the mitt. I just grab thd whole thing. Not putting ones hand inside the mitt allows the mitt to be flipped over.

I certainly can't argue with a fresh and clean wash media everytime you reach in the bucket with those wash mitts, but how's the quality compared to a 500 GSM Eagle edgeless microfiber towel, 5 of them is what I need to wash my car

I had to bucket wash cars with eagle edgeless towels today. What are the odds. Lol.

They’re ok surface wise, but offer little to no control over them. It’s like trying to handle a wet noodle.

That's what Brad uses?

Whatever gsm the beagle edgeless towels are. I dunno. I had to because that’s what my fellow detailer uses to bucket wash vehicles.

I thought you were bringing him some Eldo-style mitts? I'm guessing he wasn't going to experiment on the Ferrari and whatever that crazy Ford race car was...not to mention the showroom '94 pace car replica.

I should’ve taken a picture. I immediately thought of you and what a coincidence.

Traditional 2BM wash using multiple edgeless microfiber towels, I don't even do that

When using mf towels as the wash media and you make a pass, you can actually SEE the dirt line, so you can roll that part away and make 1 or 2 more passes on that square...how does the process work with those mitts

That’s what you said didn’t you? Why else would you ask how mitts compare?

No, rinseless washing is what I was talking about but now that I'm thinking about it, do people use multiple wash mitts to do RW's

GO between my Rag Company pads (both sizes) and the Microfiber Madness Incredipads (both sizes). Whichever is cleaner.

I don't stick my hand into the wash mitt I use it as a wash pad,
But if i feel like I'm going to drop it, i will stick it in.
