What's the last form of exercise you've done?

I walk my dogs between 2 - 4 miles every night, they almost never stop pulling. Fantastic workout for the arms, shoulders, and great for grip strength and stamina. There almost 2 old year Australian Cattle Dog x Border Collies.

Also washing the FJ Cruiser isn't to bad, getting up and down on the tub to wash, dry, and seal the roof is a good leg workout. It's lifted 2 inches as well.

Gym this morning...

Stationary bike, followed by upper body/core strengthening, then sit-ups and stretching.

i can imagine in that kind of humidity, it sucks the air right out of you (especially running). you're a trooper Monica!

Well thank you for that. It’s not too bad... I guess I’m sort of used to it.
But some crisp, fall running sounds good about now.
 
swam a lot of freestyle today and have been working on improving my breathing pattern which has helped extend my longevity and become less tired...

i know the proper way (in regards to swimming) is to catch air through the mouth and breath through the nose, but sometimes breathing through the mouth at certain points helps too (at least for me). only problem is you have to re-catch your breath after you do that and it gives you less air capacity in between strokes which can tire you out quicker. i've been experimenting and have found a happy medium in that regards. thanks for the offer :)
 
I do more headlights these days than detailing neither of which provide much exercise. Probably mowing the grass every 6 days is the most exercise I get now that I am 69 and retired from full time work. I get around 4 miles of walking every time I mow and I do enjoy it so I will continue to do it as long as I can.

3.5 mile run this morning... another humid day but it's supposed to get cooler and less humid starting tomorrow!
Will be great Saturday for my long run of the week!
 
another swim today. cut it a little short because the pool was packed and one gentleman wanted to swim so i gave up the lane i was in...
