What's the last form of exercise you've done?

My father has been a drum enthusiast for the past 60 years. He used to play local gigs in a jazz trio but due to the virus, who knows when he’ll play again. I hear you about it being a workout, if he’s not on the sit, he’s on the drum pad. He is very fulfilled when he finishes.

Hi gang! Hope everyone has been staying happy and healthy!

Since I've been working from home AND there hasn't been much to do, my workout routine has been great!

5 days a week... running and weight/cross training :xyxthumbs:
It's been paying off... got to run an actual race last weekend. Not only did I come in 2nd overall female, but also PR'd!
Im the MAN

I’ve been working out 4-5 days a week since June 1 when the gym reopened. I have to schedule the workout through the App and only have one hour.

I’ve worked out everything at least 3 times. I started at roughly 1/3 to 1/2 the weight I was lifting prior to the “outbreak” and gradually getting heavier with each workout.

It hasn’t been as bad as I thought except for two days after working out arms, worked arms on a Wednesday night and Friday morning I woke up and I couldn’t straighten my arms past 90 degrees without excruciating pain I haven’t felt in years...needless to say going to the bathroom after waking up was “interesting”, the dogs were looking at me like WTH?

Thank God for anti-inflammatories!!

I have no idea when gyms around me will reopen... I may cancel my gym membership.
I'm so used to working out from home at this point?
It really depends on how they handle the gym once they reopen.

Jay, what gym do you belong to?

24 Hour Fitness. There’s only a handful of locations in Houston and the suburbs that are open, thank goodness the one five minutes from me is one that’s open.

They also have a 25% capacity limit which makes it nice since you don’t have to wait for weights or a bench for very long and there’s very little chit chat going on, get in and get going...that hour goes by very quick.

This thread needs a bump!

This month I ran a full marathon and a half marathon a week later!

:dblthumb2:

Although I am not a runner I continue to walk four miles every other day. At least it gets me out of the house and I’m not putting on any pounds.

Here lately, to burn a few calories:

I like listening to some cool jams...
and getting my groove on.

Thanks for the bump!

Ive been working out roughly five days a week for sometime now except when we were in Mississippi last week where the Gov has the gyms closed :(.

I’m at the gym on the elliptical as I type trying to preburn some calories before this afternoons eating commences!

I changed/tweaked my workouts since I wasn’t seeing the results I was looking for over the last 3-4 weeks.

Funny how I like to compare working out to washing the car or mowing the yard...you can see the results after you finish, granted workouts take a little longer to see the changes but I can see them and that’s all that matters!!

Still hitting the gym about 5 days a week! Last few weeks haven’t been as active with work and feeling under the weather but still going strong.

Worked back last night and feeling it this morning, sucks taking a few extra days off...I can tell when I take a few extra days off...ugh!

For the last couple years, I've been hitting Orange Theory Fitness three/four days per week (minus the time they were shut down for the 'Rona). I really enjoy goin. It is about an hour long work out, it is generally different every time you go and you leave saying......man, that was one helluva a workout. Plus I really like the coaches and the other people who go there. It is quite pricey, but I feel that it is worth it.

Power Cleans after doing
