what's your weather currently like?

Yeah you guys usually what we got the next day. My oldest daughter lives in Grandville MI, I'm always worried as they get their butts kicked. My 2nd oldest lives in Mt. Clemens, N of Detroit, we're all this together right now

Small world. My dad was from Mt Clemens and that's still where all his siblings are currently, except for one that lives in lexington ky

Wow! What was the diameter of that main?
I really don't know and haven't seen it reported. THIS guy here, though, is the hero of the day. Early footage showed him doggedly using his trash-can wading boots to get through knee-deep water through his yard and out to the street to try and get to his truck and go to work . . . for ABC Plumbing (a pretty large local plumbing franchise)! Most folks would be "Eh, whole neighborhood's flooded and we have no water supply and . . . . I'm not working today". He ended up having to have the ABC Plumbing truck towed as the water was above the wheels but local TV got him on camera. He was pretty low key but then talked up the dangers people might be facing with flooded basements and appliances down there and he reminded viewers they could give ABC Plumbing a call, LOL. Hope his bosses reward him.

They say the main broke at 5:15 AM and that pic I showed was taken only a couple hours later, so it was definitely pushing out a lot of water!

An inch of snow/ice tomorrow but up to 53 with rain on sunday. so i'll probably be outside in any breaks in the rain washing the cars.

I know people have it worse but I'm ready for spring, I've got the "Undirty Dozen" ready to get after it

It just never ends. Got a freak snowstorm this morning. I would say it dumped a good 8" of snow. It was challenging to do the grocery shopping in that mess. New truck is earning its keep!
we got maybe an inch. didn't bother shoveling as it's supposed to start raining tonight.

Got over 13" overnight Wednesday into Thursday. Now we are in another one right now, predictions of up to and over 16" this round when it's done. Yea, I'm all wintered out. Bring on spring.

Did that work for you? I did the same, it was supposed to go up to 35 overnight but it's still only 33.something and it didn't really start raining until a little while ago, so I've still got a bunch of slush. I'm hoping things are actually going to melt and dry off before it goes below freezing tonight.

it worked for the driveway. we ended up shoveling the sidewalk. should be in the 40's and consistently raining by noon.

GOOD GRIEF! Another dumping this morning. And high winds. Going out shortly again to clean up the mess. The PA eternal winter....

Thank God for remote start from the cell
