Sounds like one of those days where the cold gets in your bones, and you just can't warm up. Run a hot bath and sit there for an hour watching detailing videos.Working outdoors is the pits sometimes.
I often have customers say "you have such a great job"............usually on a beautiful sunny spring or autumn day. But where are those people on a day like today?
The temperature never cracked 5.0 deg C / 41 F all day and was still 3.6 deg C / 38 F at 12pm with thick fog still lingering till 1pm. I can normally take the cold over the summer heat and humidity, but today sucked.
41degrees f?!you think thats cold? HahahWorking outdoors is the pits sometimes.

We were playing out on a rig in February cutting casing at 2AM and it was -33F and -48F with the air moving. Nothing in my recent memory was as bad as that or this winter out here in Wyoming. Even my neighbors from Quebec said it was stupid and they work in the patch of there and down here

Well, apparently yesterday was the coldest on record for the town. For context, winter maximums usually range between 10 and 17 deg C / 50 and 62 deg F in this region. So a maximum of 5 deg C / 41 deg F was always going to be noticed.
And yes, I don't envy those frozen winters in the US.
As part of my job, I also maintain office plants. I had to restrain from commenting when one of the workers in an office was complaining about how cold she was yesterday........... indoors with the heat on. Sorry love, try working outdoors!
