Which brand is forbidden to be spoken around you?

Michigan State University. It's like there's an exiting class in rudeness, pomposity, and general "db-ery".

Eight inch double sided wool pad for rotary. A clearcoat killer in the hands of the unexperienced. I keep and keep fixing their mistakes. And its brother, unknown brand polish paste that sells in a bucket.

Re: Megs Quick Interior Detailer

Im a loyal Meguiars fan but the QID sucks, its dont clean, seems thinner that water and made the inside of my trailblazer smell like vinegar the past two weeks. i stripped it today with ipa and added Megs Ultimate Protection

Sounds like your bottle went bad.

Turtle Wax Color Magic. Bought a bottle years ago and tried it on my vehicle. after doing the hood I tossed it in the garbage.

Question: I received an Armor-all car care kit from well meaning family member for x-mas. Is there ANYTHING worthwhile to use? I HATE the dressing, don't trust the leather cleaner (at least on my seats)..the car wash???

Now that I've taken a closer look at the items
on this "forbidden-list":

I must go and spend some of my disposable income
on them...and troll all the snobs out there. :D

The dressing perhaps in the wheel wells. :dunno: The soap..... uhhhhh..... on the wheels, tires and exhaust perhaps. :D Give that leather cleaner to your neighbor. ;)

You could regift it next Christmas.....just make sure you dont give it to the person that gave it to you lol

Anything not high quality microfiber....don't get me started with bath towels.

For me it's Croftgate products and reps that make my blood boil. Reps are so pushy and think their stuff is the shiznit. See them at car shows pushing waterless wash n wax. Washing cars with 2 gallons of water, a few cap fulls, 1 bucket , no grit guard and 1 MF towel. Reps personal cars are all swirled up. I have requested product samples from more then 1 rep to do some real world testing against the products I use on DD 's not garage kept weekend cars, but have never received them.

I'm sorry you have had bad experiences with Croftgate Reps. I an a Croftgate user as well as other products. Croftgate rinseless wash and wax works great for cars that have paint that's already in good condition.

The Croftgate tire shine is outstanding and the only product I will use now. The quick and slick is really nice but if a car has etched in rain spots, oxidation, swirls , scratches , look for other products.

I like my Croftgate products but only because my paint is in good condition.

That wax that you apply with your bare hands. I just laugh inside when they pick up a spec of sand and SCRAATCH. How's that crystal bottle working for ya now? hah!

Speaking of bad sales approaches, Not sure of the brand , but had never heard of it. At the gas station by my house on Saturday mornings some company is always promoting a waterless wash and wax product that comes in an aerosol can, and the have several sorta hot girls who just go up to cars and start spraying the stuff on hoods and rubbing it in, not gently wiping in straight lines, but cranking on cars in circular motions with one dirty cheap microfiber that they seem to use all day. I have had to politely chase them away from my car on many occasions. Just feel bad for everyone else who get "free swirls" on the one area of their cars that these chicks hit. The horror...

That's odd & funny; I dislike Megs Ultimate Protection because it reminds me of that "greasy look." However, I love the QID because it smells great and leaves a non-greasy finish.
