This is my vote as well.
It may seem expensive, but it is actually one of the cheapest car washes out there. In my opinion, it's also one of the best and I think others that have used it will agree.
Here is a chart a made about a year or so ago so you can compare:
![]()
I use 1oz per 4 gallons, but others like Ron may use just a tad bit more. I believe the ratio I use it is at 512:1 or maybe it's 511:1.
I'm a big fan of Optimum Car Wash. It has excellent lubricity and it smells wonderful! I have a gallon on the way from AG.
I've read great things about Duragloss 901, but I'm happy with Optimum Car Wash. The two cost about the same (depending on where you buy) and I can't imagine a wash concentrate smelling better than OCW, so I'm sticking with it.
Do you use the recommended 1 oz. per 5 gallons? I feel like that wouldn't be enough lubricity.
DG901 and Optimum Car Wash get my vote.
That doesn't have the gallon version of it. I'm thinking of trying out some optimum car wash, I've heard nothing but good things about it.

Duragloss 901 is awesome and can be bought at napa. Also like chemical guys citrus wash and gloss. 1oz to 5 gals of water. Great deal and a gallon is like 20 bucks.
Here's another good Meguiar's car-wash shampoo...It's very economical too!!

Meguiars D110 Hyper-Wash...
-Dilution ration @ 400:1
-Equals: 640gals of RTU car-wash shampoo!!

One note on DG and NAPA. I thought, based on comments here, as well as the DG site that their products were available there as well. Not so, at least nowhere within driving distance of me. (And Atlanta is a big town) When I asked my local NAPA(s) about DG products the only thing they could even FIND were smaller bottles. Nothing in gallons anywhere. I was actually looking for 951 (well, it's 952 in the gallon, just as 901 is 902 in the gallon) and the ONLY place he could even FIND any 951 was 4 bottles in Boston. That was a week before the bombing

My local napa didn't carry it in warehouse they looked it up in their catalog and got the number. Delivered next day to the napa store. Not too bad actually. One thing I did find was pricing was a bit different than their website but that was fine by me. I may end up going back to get a gallon of 901. That stuff smells amazing and works perfect.
My local NAPA store doesn't have it in stock but was able to deliver any DG product and was able to pick it up the next day.
Carquest Auto Parts carries the DG902 gal for $21.99
Well, someone told me it's 1oz of product for every 4 gallons of water, but now most people are saying it's 1 oz of product for every 3 gallons of water.
The 512 is derived from multiplying 128 (1gal) times 4. Since we are talking about oz of product we also need to be talking about oz of water.
That is the ratio of water to product although I believe it's 511:1 so 511 oz to 1 oz product.
Does that make sense?
