Who's Behind The House of Rags, Detail Co, DIY Detail?

Maybe this should be looped into some of the other posts about last YouTube video or the Pan drama but this is interesting to expose more drama related to House of Rags.

I've only skipped over parts and yes, I know this has a controversial guy himself on it...

I'm going to listen to this in my work van on Friday but as much as I don't like the Jimbo guy on videos I don't mind his podcast angle

So I watched the video and I feel that industry is so insider, we're all on the outside looking in, yet they need to survive based off of us but really don't give a damn about us, does this make sense

Imagine going to SEMA and hearing all these chuckleheads yukking it up as plebians like you and I walk buy and they think they're some rock star

I can assure you that's exactly what Pan felt like at that content creator show I saw him at, line was long all day to see him, HELL, I contributed to it as well by buying him 3 tacos and a Coke, live and learn

Think it just confirmed without saying it out loud... the industry has all the dirty secrets everyone knows it has. And anyone will use the backs of others to try to climb up in the industry.

It just confirmed this is like any other corporate world so best to stay involved from a hobby standpoint (or at least don't get too involved beyond a small business aspect).

I’ll be starting my own line in a few months called CRACK’d. I’ve come up with my own formula’s and curated nothing but the best organic, non GmO, silicon, ph Neutral chemicals on the market.

I’ve test this against what I have in my garage and these new products have won my best of 2025-26 awards.

How about the directions, heat the product on a spoon, draw it into a syringe so you can inject it into your applicators, for the most satisfaction.

I think Optimum mostly beat him to the punch on that one. Remember the first Wolfgang coating that came in a syringe, and Nick tried to tell us that Optimum didn't make it for them? That was when Gloss-Coat first came out, and they were both "2-year" coatings. Then Gloss-Coat became a 3-year coating...and in a wild coincidence...so did the Wolfgang.

Pan released pads. Not long ago (with DIY Detail) they had to release a video about whether or not all their products (Detail Co, Pan's, DIY) were different or not.

They do get why there's doubt, right?!

Honestly, in this case i think Pan is just piggy backing off actual detailers like Yvan and Eddie. He just repeats what other people say. That's been obviously for years.

I don't know for sure but i've have a feeling he's not even a real detailer for a while now.

Anyone remember that video he done with Turtlewax maybe 4 years ago now? haha What a tool.

I think Eddie should of stayed away from Pan - that said i have no idea about the business relationship. But he does have a large audience. "Apparently". I don't know who watches his stuff, i stopped watching pan years ago and i watch a lot of detailing videos.
