witch wheel cleaner do you use?

Didn't know that Duragloss had an acid wheel cleaner..what is it?

i have 821, but they have 803 (which i believe is probably very aggressive) and 851.

821 definitely is acid, but nothing super crazy.

My Wheel cleaners are:

P21s Gel
Sonax FE
Autoglym CWC
Zep Citrus
Megs WB

My favorite and main goto wheel cleaner is Autoglym CWC. It is as safe and effective as p21s/sonax fe, cheaper, and has a glossing agent that really makes the wheels sparkle. If CWC doesnt cut the cake then I'll use Megs WB. I rarely ever touch p21s or sonax anymore.

Currently I use Meg's All Wheel Cleaner but after reading about acidic wheel cleaners I'm planning on switching to Optimum Power Clean for something a little more gentle to the wheel surface.

I just picked up Zep Citrus for the wheels and Purple Industrial Zep for the tires. Do you prerinse the wheels before applying or is best to spray it on a cool dry wheel?

p21s gel for normal weekly washings and megs wheel brightener for really dirty wheels

According to AutoGlym's US website, their products are available at Pep Boys and AutoZone. It's also available from AutoWerkesExclusive, an online retailer based out of British Columbia, Canada. Shipping is $8 flat rate from Canada to the lower 48 in the USA.

AG CWC is not available OTC. I picked up 15L of it from Ken at AutoWerksExclusive, but he's currently out of stock on it and its not $8 flat rate shipping on bulk containers. Phil over at DD has the 500ml and 5L of AG CWC in stock but his supply is limited on the 5L's.

You can do it any way you want. I personally dont like to prerinse wheels because I feel it dilutes the cleaner.

I have used SSG and Blackfire so far and both can be used for tires plus they do a great job. I just got some Mothers and will be trying it out this weekend.

i like to use the wheel/tire cleaners that are AIO. saves me from using two products.
1. advanced auto brand. (very good)
2. eagle one wheel tire. (again, very good)
3. mothers foaming wheel & tire cleaner. ( have a few, waiting to try. heard good things about this one)

I love the Mothers. It is a very nice wheel cleaner, and a great tire cleaner. I have many bottles of it on the shelf.

Sonax Full Effect Wheel Cleaner
Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner Plus D103
Meguiars Super Degreaser

Looking to try:
Chemical Guys Diablo Gel Wheel Cleaner
Chemical Guys Sticky Gel Wheel Cleaner
P21S Gel Wheel Cleaner
AG CWC

i'm using megs WB very impressed. Before this stuff I hated doing wheels. Now it is a breeze.

I've used the DP Wheel Gel 4 times now. Been very satisfied. Just melted the nasty black brake dust on both my RAV4 and the wife's Lexus. I'll probably try the foaming glass cleaner once I run low on DP, but if it doesn't work as well, DP will be my go-to.

I use P21s on the vette and Griot's Wheel Cleaner on the Silverado daily driver. Both work great!!!

I use the Griot's on my vette wheels (chrome gumbys) - wondering why you choose not to use it on yours?

Thanks in advance for the response.

I use Griots wheel cleaner. Does a great job and doesn't break the bank.
I also use the Griot's Garage Wheel Cleaner. It is strong enough to get wheels clean if done at least once every two weeks without problems, plus is safe for all finishes and has a pleasant, somewhat minty scent.
I use Poorboy's Spray and Rinse for heavily neglected powder coated wheels, but they turned the clear coat on a Boy's cast star wheel whitish when I used it on that, so I'm careful what I use that on now.
