witch wheel cleaner do you use?

Straight up Windex with a clean MF towel. I didn't believe it until I tried it myself. But they really do pop when I'm done and it only takes 2 minutes.
 
Megs Wheel Brightener I couldn't stop staring at it the first time i used it i was simply amazed.
 
Purple Power degreaser from Advanced Auto, dilute a bit with water, cleans dirt, brake dust, mud, everything. I am surprised at the shine after numerous washings between polishing.
 
i like to use the combo wheel & tire cleaners. so far i have used

1. advanced auto
2. mothers
3. eagle one

all of them are very good. with eagle one having a slight edge.
 
I never used wheel cleaners because car soap always did the job (I never let them get that dirty). But last week I put Pinnacle black onyx on the tires and it came out uneven. I assumed it was because they were dirty so I grabbed some Mothers wheel and tire cleaner just for the rubber. It took off the PBO and all the dirt nicely, and I even did the wheels while I was there. They weren't that dirty but of course it took off all the sealant I had on there. (WGDGPS)

At first I washed the tires with P21s TAW, twice, and they were still dirty, PLUS they seemed to have that orange soap in the rubber even though I rinsed well. This was why the PBO didn't look right. The Mothers was MUCH better.

I'm just about to go out and put the PBO back on and reseal the wheels. :xyxthumbs:

At what dilution ratio? I know this stuff is pretty strong straight. I use it to strip enamel paint for my other hobby when I screw up.

For those using Megs WB, what dilution ratio are you using? If it ever stops raining here I am going to get to try it for the first time on my BMW wheels.

Usually around 10:1. Just remember never to go any stronger than 4:1.
 
I just tried this stuff called Tuf Shine and let me tell you this stuff is amazing. I have had this stuff on for a month and it still looks good. It has different stages of shine. 1 coat is a matte finish. 2 coats is semi gloss. 3 coats is insane gloss. It's been on all this time trough all the rain we have had.
