Meguiar's D166 Ultra Polishing Wax

Whoa! I might have to try this out. I got started detailing with Meguiar's #6
 
Oh man!!! I am REALLY excited to try this!!!

I wonder if it's basically D301 with correctional capabilities more in line with D151?

With HD Speed and Boss Finishing Sealant it's good to see Meguiar's come out with an AIO that can compete with the top dogs.

BTW, Does anyone know the specific date when meguiars is re-releasing their 3" microfiber cutting pads?
 
This very timely considering that I am in the market for a cleaner wax with less cut than my M66. In fact I was thinking about hd speed or Optimum gps.

M66 probably has less cut then Speed, and GPS.

I know for sure that any cut offered by M66 falls off before Speed will. Speed definitely offers more cut.

For less cut, try M20 Polymer Sealant, or M06 Cleaner Wax.

Now, do I use the white wax, or try the D166 instead?!? (on a big white truck)
 
I’m curious what the price is. Going from most of their detailers line pricing structure, this might be the best bang for your buck AIO.

Meh, just go ahead and use the White Wax.
 
Similar pricing to McKee's 360. Any compelling reason to change to this product? For me, 360 can be used in a very wide range of weather and environmental conditions. Is D166 so forgiving?

Judging by Meguiars track record + the fact they had plenty of time to evaluate before finally coming to market makes it feel like a safe bet this will be a case of latest and greatest. I'm excited to try it. :)
