When I was bringing the Shelby home 75% of the 200 mile ride home was I-80, which is three lanes. I gave trucks a wide berth and tried to be as strategic as possible when passing them. Landscaping equipment on open trailers is another good source of stone chips.Trucks/ Trucks hauling trailers and especially any type of construction equipment are vehicles I absolutely avoid. I'll either pass them
( in the other lane)in a hurry and then stay in front or if that doesn't look possible I'll drop back 200 yards.
I often say "daily drivers take daily beatings". But the garage queen doesn't have to. I'll be far more comfortable taking it out with PPF in the likely impact zones. Then maybe a decade or so down the road I will be able to stomach the insane cost of having the entire car done. They take door handles, lights, badges, and trim off to get the PPF everywhere possible. The quote made me shutter though lol. There were doing one to an Aston DBX on their IG the same day I reached out, looks intensive.
