Disappointing products

Granted, I have never used the flat or hydrotech pads, but I love my CCS's. What frustration are you seeing? I get adequate correction, easy to clean, and last a long time.

Actually CCS's (8.5" for rotary) are my big disappointment as well. I found that getting little bits of compound out of the little divots was a pain, and my blue finessing pad lasted all of 2 cars before it gave out (application surface breaking apart and bits of foam over car) using it with Klasse AIO. The Orange pads are having similar deterioration compared to the blues.

The white and red pads though worked great...except for that time when I took my mom's advice to add bleach to the washer to get rid of some discoloration in the white pads. Turns out that the white is a dye and they're actually a weird yellow foam color :P still work great though.

I'm looking forward to trying the Meguiar's pads though in the future...they'll be my next buy.

I had not issues with it. It generates plenty of suds and seems fine at 1 oz to 2.5 gallons or so.

Interesting... perhaps you haven't used Pinnacle Natural Brilliance or DP Xtreme Foam yet??? you'll get lost in suds.

I have used both WG and DP. They actually seemed somewhat similar. I rotate using several soaps including the WG and Pinnacle.

Invisible Glass, PB QD+, was using FK425, thought I'd try PB Got through AG generous samples , was not slick as FK.

2. Mothers Showtime - Streaks and terrible smell.

I guess you do not like cinnamon. I think it is very unique. The Mothers Showtime sprayer can put out a lot of product at one time with a full trigger pull . Are you spraying in a sweeping motion? If you are just spot spraying you may want to be easier on the trigger.

Although I hate to say this the Cobra Microfiber towels I have received as freebies with another purchase here were just horrible. After one use, & washed first, they were really bottom end. I didn't expect much and that is exactly what I got. They ended up being wheel well cleaners and worked okay there. Put them on my finished paint? NO WAY!

Perhaps there are better Cobra towels but those handed out as freebies with a purchase are pure garbage. Because of that I would not buy a towel branded "Cobra" on a bet. I strongly suggest you get a better vendor for your brand name MF towels.

I love Autogeek but the microfiber towels are lint distributors. I use DP microfiber wash and follow the directions but almost all types of microfiber towels leave fibers. I have Target microfiber towels at half the cost that are much better. Just my 2 cents.

cobra blue micro-chenille wash mitt. Got one,it fell apart at the seems. AG quickly replaced and the same with that one. I bought the Carrand wash mitt and that has held up better.

I wasnt too pleased with surf city clearly better glass cleaner. Couldnt ever get the streak free finish I wanted. Now I just stick to invisible glass

A few more...

Engine Gunk Brite Degreaser - left a sticky residue and would not rinse off too well.

Blackfire Midnight Sun - Definitly a waste of money, couldnt tell the difference bewtween it and Meguiars M26.

Invisible Glass - I never understood why so many liked this product. I thought it was average and Meguiars D Line Concentrate was much better.

Meguiars M62 Car Wash Shampoo and Conditioner - Feels like you are washing with water and the suds do not last a panel.

Invisible Glass is awful. Sprayaway is great.

Really? I have some in my cart for my next order. Did you use the aerosol or the pump spray bottle?

I thought the DP glass cleaner was pretty good, but pricey so I'm looking for a replacement.

Sorry, but to be honest WG auto bathe disappointed me.

That's interesting, I know allot, I mean allot of folks that use it with great results!

I've been using Stoners Invisible Glass, pump spray, for a couple of years now. When used with a Microfiber Glass towel I get superb results, no streaking or haze at all. It cleans well, easy to apply, and readily available and the cost is reasonable. One thing I don't want to do is order a product at 3 or 4 times the price and not see and improvement in performance.

I might pick up another brand to compare, any suggestions?

WOW! I love Stoners Invisible Glass. Great Price for a product that works better then anything else I've used. I ran out of Stoners and now am using DP that was included in an order twice last year. I'm very happy with this as well. Got lots of it so I better!

I believe the price of Sprayaway is somewhat less that any of the auto specific brands such as Stoner etc. You can buy it in any supermarket and the Bigbox stores have it for a great price.
