Northeast Detailing vs. Dodge Daytona. Ding ding ding!!

You planning on running a deodorizer through the HVAC ducts? It'll probably need it or else the smell will just come back. Personally I'd have pulled the seats and carpet out to make sure nothing got in under them, too. Just depends on how far this guy wants to go with "reviving" the vehicle and/or what he'll pay for.

Yeah, we had that discussion. I told him that the chances of the carpet needing to be pulled was more than likely. But he didn't seem to concerned. He just wants to sell it and be done with it. We decided to stick with the surface.

And yes, I cleared out the nests in the vents today. I plan on spraying deodorizer in there real good, and just letting steam circulate in the vents for a while. Should clear it up. :xyxthumbs:

Sounds like a good plan to me! :props:

I got this little bad boy. I love it. It's cheap, and for what I use a steamer for...it's all I need. I ain't washing cars with it or nothing ya know? Comes with a ton of attachments too.

The McCulloch Heavy Duty Steam Cleaner. The Steam Fast McCulloch MC 1275 home steam cleaning Steam Cleaner, great for indoor, outdoor, automobile and car heavy duty steam cleaning uses.

I have the same one! Works like a charm and I do the same and don't use it for washing the car or anything. I use it mainly for the interior vents and tougher stains. And for being a cheap steamer it works pretty well. My gf even uses it around the house for tile floors.

Yeah, thing is great. for the price you can't beat it. :xyxthumbs:

I see that Amazon has that steamer for $101.90 right now.
Not a bad price at all considering the amount of uses this product has.

Yeah, I don't remember what I paid exactly. But it was around there. I got mine through home depot, and they had a free shipping deal going on too. :xyxthumbs:

that's a trashed vehicle big time! I would have ran far away from that thing! lol... Can't wait to see your final pics! Good job!

A lot of detailers did run apparently, ha. I like the nasty ones. They make for some customer drawing dramatic pics! I'm fine with it. I got masks, gloves, eye protection, the right equipment....I say bring it on. Im the MAN

Hey Kristopher,
It's good you already have a game plan, and from all your previous post/threads I'm confident you'll knock this one out of the ballpark as well. You do excellent work, and if you want my opinion do this.
  1. Roll up all the windows
  2. Open the sun/moon roof
  3. Get a garden hose
  4. Insert garden hose inside the sun/moon roof
  5. Turn on the water valve wide open
  6. Sit back and crack open a soda/beer
  7. Let it flood over night
  8. Open the doors and let it drain
  9. Spray PoorBoys' Pina Colada air freshener
  10. Over charge your client for bringing that thing in the first place!!
Haha j/k can't wait to see your magic Kristopher!!:dblthumb2:

Haha! Thanks man! Don't think for a second that didn't cross my mind. I was thinking more along the lines of gas and a match...but that works too, ha. :righton:

Just so everyone knows too...my plan is to have this finished at some point tonight. Figured I'd share that so people aren't chillin at their computer with a bag of popcorn waiting for updates, hahaha.

Unfortunately I'm trying to squeeze it in between my actual appointments. This thing just randomly got dropped off and left till whenever I call the guy. So, I'd like to take my time on it. So you guys can take off the 3D glasses, snuggies, and put down the candy and popcorn. It's gonna be a little bit, lol. :D

:props: Thanks for the update... I think my browser has gone to this post over 40 times today lol... can you tell I'm bored at work?

Just got done deodorizing, and extracting. Also ran steam and deodorizer through the vents. It no longer smells like piss and poo poo. Actually smells pretty damn good right now, even up close. It actually stunk up my shop from being in here over the night, ha. You guys are gonna like these after pics!!! :wow:

I would have requested a $500 non-refundable deposit and tacked on the normal rates on-top of that just to attempt it!
