Niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!rops:
What did you use on the interior carpet and seats?
Mark, i believe she used Meguiars APC on the seats along with the steamer. That combo works really well on cloth. She may have used the extractor on then as well but i'd have to double check.
As for the carpets she used APC+ 4:1 i believe to presoak them, then oxyclean in hot water...and used a soft bristled brush to get the mat wet w/the oxy, then extracted it up.
That's just beautiful work my man!! :dblthumb2:
So the D300 was the only thing you used for that correction? And it finished down THAT nice, without another polishing step? Boy, that stuff sure could save me some time in the future!!
Its for sure my new go to product. Even for single passes on cars that really need some serious correction it works great. You really can go to sealant or to D301 finishing wax, which ever you want. For DD's like this i go for a long lasting sealant, for nicer fun type cars i go do the D301 for that little bit of extra pop :dblthumb2:
Awesome job! Yeah, what did you use on the seats and cloth and stuff? I want to do my parents Tahoe, which is their dog mobile. Any tips for dog hair? Again, looks great! I want a Flex now haha.
I listed above what i used for seats and carpets...as for the dog hair...As long as you don't have REALLY tightly napped carpet, you can put on a latex glove and you actually sort of 'brush' the carpet in one direction and as the static builds it helps pull the hair into a ball..use your shopvac in the other hand to suck it up as it builds. For the deeper stuff use a brush of some sort to kind of 'comb' it out of the carpet and you should get 99% out no problem.
That is an incredible transformationrops: You, sir, are an artist.
Thank you man im glad you enjoyed the write up...funny this old thing is one of our greatest turn arounds...and we've been doing a ton of chargers and challengers and such lately lol
