The New Word of the Day: 3/20/12
Resuscitate (ri-suhs-i-teyt)
Definition: revive
Source: Thesaurus.com
The detailer resuscitated the neglected car and brought it back from a dull, swirled-up, dilapidated looking vehicle.
To freshen things up a little I am going to start adding something a little extra to this thread. I am going to list some events that happened on this same day, not all but some, that I find interesting. So starting with today, back in:
1760 The Great Fire of Boston destroys 349 Buildings
1852 Harriet Beecher Stowe's "Uncle Tom's Cabin" published (Boston)
1868 Jesse James Gang robs bank in Russelville KY of $14,000
1952 U.S. Senate ratifies peace treaty with Japan
1956 U.S.S.R. performs nuclear test
1996 U.K. admits humans can catch CJD (Mad Cow Disease)
