That looks more like clear coat failure to me. JMO but the paint on your accord wouldn't oxidize that way. I could be wrong, that looks like a 90s honda, and lots and lots of them have clear coat failure

Sounds interesting... I don't think you can feel anything in ScratchX, maybe you have it mixed up with something else. Go to Walmart and grab a tube off the shelf and giver a go...you won't feel any abrasives. I don't ever remember hearing anyone say that ScratchX caused hazing. Going...

Their polishes are pretty good. I don't have a ton of experience with them but they finish off pretty well.

I am not so sure about that bumper idea. I have been using the rotary for a while now, and I don't think I would want to buff a surface that has been rattle canned. Personally I would just get a pro to paint it. Rattle can jobs are usually not good. There are some people with amazing skill...
