Yet another excellent review! Thanks for taking the time to post this. :dblthumb2:
I am wondering about why you wish it was white or another light color. Is it so you can see how dirty it is as you wash or is it just a personal preference thing?
This happened to my Acura TL about a month ago. I ran over some freshly painted lines pulling out of a parking lot one night. All four of my wheel wells were covered in yellow specks. It also got some on the paint around the wheels, but it was not a lot. Like PAR mentioned, this paint is not...
Same here, but lately I like BFWD. DP Poli-Coat is good for the price. I use it on my wheels. However, if you are like me, I doubt you will prefer it over BFWD or WGDGPS.
 I still don't think it's as bad you say.
Your 50/50 shots are not as bad as you say--I think they really show what it can do. I am also impressed by the ink remover. Hopefully I never need to use it, but I am certainly going to pick up some of that. I see you mentioned you haven't used it in awhile, but how did you find the cleaner...
Just some suggestions here, but the tags on the Cobra towels are simply stickers and should pull off. If you do not remove them, you risk scratching your paint with the tag. Additionally, I would suggest washing any MF towel before using it. It is possible there are contaminants on it...
Has anyone tried the Lake Country tire dressing applicators? I just picked up some of them, and they seem to work pretty well. They are made from a tougher foam material and are nice and thick.
I really like Leatherique myself and have been using it on both of my cars. Though I won't link to it, there is a useful how-to guide on the Detailed Image blog. A nice tip I picked up from it was using foam paint brushes to apply the Rejuvinator Oil and a spay bottle to apply the Pristine Clean.
I have been using a 2 gallon garden sprayer to wet the tires/wheels for ARO and to rinse as well. It is a good idea actually to use ONR. I will have to try it.
The OP said specifically inexpensive. While it might be good, at $79.99 per gallon there are many cheaper options.
This is a product I don't see mentioned very often. Still a little pricey compared to other suggestions, but I might have to give it a try myself sometime. I have been satisfied...
I recently purchased a kit for our Prius which has tons of really noticeable chips all over the front hood and bumper. However, I decided to wait until after winter to try it out.
This gives me a lot of hope though that it will work. Thanks for sharing. :props:
Maybe there was a bad run of Cobra towels or something, but I seriously do not have the linting issues you guys talk about. I use the gold, purple, indigo, white, blue and green WW, yellow, mango, etc. All are fine.
According to Collinite, their longest lasting wax is 476S. That is what I am using on both of my cars this year over top of sealants. By the way, I have heard horror stories about how difficult 476S is to work with. I would say it was not the easiest to buff off, but it was not that bad...
