Quick detail on my’08 Tacoma.

Even though it was hot outside I worked about 5 hours mowing, edging, trimming etc. I did take a few breaks to cool off. I have had a heat stroke before and they are no fun. About 30 minutes after I finished in the yard it rained like crazy. Good timing.

Riding With Private Malone

After a week or so I applied a second coat of Aerospace 303 protectant to the dash of my ‘08 Tacoma.

I have just about completed the full detail on my recently purchased ‘08 Tacoma with 410,000 miles. Today I cleaned and coated the dash with Aerospace 303 protectant. I also cleaned and coated the rear metal bumper with 845 and the plastic part with Ultimate Black.

I also received my G8 recently and used it to polish some areas of my truck. I was really impressed with this polisher. I agree with your assessment and I also like the locking trigger, the easy to see speed dial, and I think it has plenty of power with minimum vibration

Got 2nd vaccine shot today. Arm is sore and I feel lethargic however if it helps to protect against the virus it is worth it.

After restoring the headlights I completed the detail of the grill and front bumper. I used Super Clean to clean the bumper and then 3 applications of Meguiar’s Ultimate Black plastic restorer. Next I plan to do the same to the rear bumper plastic trim and coat the black metal bumper.
