Have I been doing it wrong??? I've always thought the sealant would protect the wax...SMH...:doh:

It works great...Some may think that it's "overkill" but with such a small area of paint on a motorcycle I thought it made sense to do it...plus I had time on my hands to kill...Honestly, the sealant on top of the wax lasted for over 6 months (granted my bike was never left out in the weather).

My suggestion is to take care of any scratches...like someone mentioned before they will ask $100.00 off the price for every major scratch. Get the paint as reflective as possible...Clean the interior and the engine..and don't forget about the engine bay....Anything you do will increase the...

I top Collinite 845 with Klasse Sealant and the results are amazing. JMO.

Here's a question for you...How often will you wash and wax your car in the next year??? 845 is the best way to go, it's inexpensive, a bottle will last for two to three years in my experience...And the protection is great.

I had a bike that I recently sold but the way I cared for it was with the Collinite and topped with Klasse Sealant...It looked great and I really got more money for the bike because of the shine.

As most of the members are saying an enzyme cleaner is the way to go...If the odor remains I recomend New Car Smell made by Chemical Guy's, the scent last for a very long time...I think this is a product A/G carries.

These two products work well for me...Klasse is a great sealant. I have both...The Klasse sealant and the KAIO....but im talkining about the the sealant.

I cant speak of the products you have used...All I know is that these products work for me.

I'm not familiar with the Hexlogic pads...I use Lake Country Flat pads and I have had no issues...I even use the same M-105 and M-205 as you are using....no issues with the Flat Pads...I have a couple of scratches that I need to clean up on my F-150...I'll post them in a day or two...In answer...

I live in Alabama and not in the harsh environment you live in...I've used Klasse Sealant topped with Collinite....Works great for me and both products are tough.

What I like to do is take two blue shop paper towels and spray them with the scent I'm using. I put the paper towels underneath the front or back seats...My customer's love it!! It is very cost effective!!! I do use Chemical Guy's they have the best scent's!!!

I've used my VX-5000 in my house doing tile grout cleaning, tile cleaning, carpet cleaning...I've used my Optima APC cleaning my kitchen cabinets and using as a degreaser on my jeans...That's probably all I can think of for now.

I want to give you "props" on the work you have done, at the same time however, "props" go out to the people keeping this Tacoma running for 231,000 miles...I think that's great....If he is ever in Central Alabama have him look up GlassReflections...I'll keep his Tacoma on the right path.
