ADS Ghost tire coating...real world durability and looks!

^^^Right up the street, next town north. I've known Bradley for years now. I send him all my PPF business as he is the best around!

I just tried it today...looks good, pretty shiny/glossy, but I like it!

Oh wow, that's great Scott!

I assume you used Tire+ and not Ghost

This current application is about a month old IIRC, ADS Ghost is just incredible

The first pic is today after driving home 4.5 miles, the 2nd pic was from a week or so ago and trying Koch Chemie Awh @5:1 in my IK Foam Pro 9 (14pH), so no matter what you throw at Ghost, it stands tall🫡

***UPDATE***

So based off of my above post, ADS Ghost is about 3 monthes old here (Oct thru early January). This was after being foamed with Bilt-Hamber Touchless and going through the touch-free wash

The thing to note here is no tire cleaner or scrubbing done here, had I'd been able to do so I feel it would look more uniform but still, it's there

So, I've been thinking of doing a shoot out on my semi tires. They're huge and would give an absolute monster of an IRL test based on all the crap I drive through. Plus doing about 10k miles a month would really put it through the paces.

What would you recommend to try? I have basically 6 tires I can test on.

First off, how's your back

Besides ADS Ghost, what's in your collection

I'm wondering about real world tests because the rearward tires get hit differently than say the fronts, you know what I mean

Klasse,
What are your two favorite ADS products?
Hmmm, that's tough but for a person new to their brand it's gotta be Ghost & Phobics🤌🤌

So last night, after doing a RW on the car and the tires/wheels I further cleaned the Michelin X-Ice's with Koch Chemie Eu...stuff is amazing, stripped it right down, perfect for a fresh coat of ADS Ghost, 2 coats actually

The 1st pic is from initial application, the 2nd pic is how they looked after curing all night and last pic is the 2nd coat

This application WILL get me through the rest of winter, I'll keep you guys updated, stay "tuned"

I went to the doctor and I go for surgery next month. Will be down for 3-4 months.

I would say that the difference between steer tires and drive tires may not be substantial. I'll give it a go anyway lol

I'm looking at buying some tire dressings so im open to whatever. There's a guy where I work at that puts dressing on his semi and it looks like crap after about 2 days and he cleans them and reapplies whatever he uses. I need to ask him what he uses so I dont buy it. Its probably some stuff at Walmart.

For longevity, its hard to go past Ghost. Usually when the terms "long lasting" and "tire dressing" are combined, you end up with a solvent-based product. While these do last longer, they never really dry, which then leads to sling and an accumulation of gunk that's harder to remove. Ghost actually dries and bonds to the rubber.

Just keep in mind that over time the visible enhancement from Ghost dissipates, but it will still be there. You'll know that via the hydrophobic properties, but also how easily the sidewall is to clean as. You can also apply a light layer of normal dressing over the top if desired.

I have the below thread if you are looking for options -

At the moment I really like Griot's Ceramic Tire Dressing, ADS Tire+, OG Tire Dressing, Adam's Graphene, and 3D Si02 Ceramic Matte Tire (really like this one, not often spoken about).

Koch Chemie PSS might be up your alley as well.

The next test is ON

Not sure when they'll be cleaned next or how, probably Feynlab v3 RW if I had to guess, stay "tuned"

Ok, I did that Feynlab v3 RW this evening on the EN, THIS is how the tires & wheels looked after just spraying them during the RW and coming back with a 2nd spray and using 2 designated mf towels to wipe them down

Today after a RW, simply sprayed once while cleaning the EN and lastly again to direct my full attention to the hoops, simple spray and wipe away with 2 mf towels

Today after using Koch Chemie Awh @5:1 in a spray bottle, applied to tires & wheels, scrubbed and rinsed down, then towel dried. This pic was after finishing the RW I had just finished.

A couple touch-free washes since the last post but this is from today, after Foaming w/ Labocosmetica Primus 2.0, dwell, rinse and dry with mini Master Blaster (outside pic)
