Best/favorite all in one?

Optimum Poli-Seal is very nice and has good protection for an AIO.

Optimum Poli Seal, paint sealant, optimum detailing products

it's super easy to use and cleans the paint very well but the longevity is very short lived IME. the optimum polishes/compounds/AIO's IME all separate quickly and i don't have any faith/trust in purchasing them again for the fear of them going bad and having to toss them which means wasted $'s...

Quote my whole post:

Mike Phillips posted this recently showing just how effective HD Speed is at correcting.

https://www.autogeekonline.net/forum...ml#post1498706

Note his first paragraph and "fillers" which Speed doesn't have and he addresses it.

"These are true results, the swirls and scratches are not merely filled in."

Another key thing with Speed is not to wipe it off as you apply it but to let it cure for at least 30 minutes. This allows the sealant to set up and adds to the longevity.
As I said, SPEED does correct, but to say ANY AIO doesn't fill to some extent is inaccurate, IMO. I've seen it first hand several times.

Who cares whether something has fillers? I don't hear anybody complaining that Carpro Essence fills! The HD Speed product is incredible. Period. You want more longevity? Then wash every week with a wash and wax rinseless product. Done. Or hit it once a month with D156. Done.

Stuff always seems to separate for me after a while. If you were using it weekly maybe ok but you use it and put it away for awhile it's pretty much no good the next time you go to use it.

Speed still ok

After you shake it is it fine? I noticed mine did that after a while.

Might be time for a new AIO

So you cover the durability issue by constantly applying another lsp? Again, why not use an actual polish?

To each there own. I'll do it my way and you do it your way, what ever makes you happiest is what you should do.

And I'll continue to top HD Speed with HD Poxy. :buffing:

Like Mike says, use what you like and use it often.

Surprised nobody mentioned Klasse on here.
I would have; however:

I'm guilty of labeling Klasse AIO and
Klasse HGSG as "The Klasse Twins";
and, as two products formulated to be
used in conjunction with one another:
an All-in-Two process, as it were.

Using Speed rather than a straight polish and then topping with Poxy adds a level of depth/wetness to the finish that I just don't see with a straight polish/LSP.

Well, the big difference is Essence has durable fillers that won't be removed after 1 wash. If your traditional AIO is fillling micro-marring, you could have a nightmare after your first wash on a darker color.

It looks like a debate now of whether or not to top an AIO...but if you do it is being argued that it makes the AIO pointless of saving time.

From what I am reading (again, I'm a rookie) speed is great, just doesn't have the longevity of protection. I am looking for something to make a vehicle look great in the least amount of time. With that said, what about speed or any AIO for that matter then after each wash a maintenance of spray wax like ultimate spray wax? 10 min to spray a car and then hopefully boost the speed protection?

That will work just fine. SPEED is the easiest AIO I've ever used.

Or use an aio with better durability.
Or go ahead and use a polish that will correct better than any aoi with the same amount of effort and top it like like you would speed. Why not have improved correction since you're going to spend the same amount of time using a lsp after every wash?
Or option 3, use a polish then use a lsp with good longevity so you aren't having to constantly maintain it. Cumulatively this may be cheaper with better results and less effort than option 2 or constantly having to top speed.

Makes sense to me too, which is why i did it on my daily. I use Megs D156 after every wash anyway as a drying aid.

If you are having to top an aio, why use an aio?

Here is my reason: Going over my entire truck with an AIO takes me 5 hours. If I had to go compound, then polish, that would be 10 hours. Then, I'd still have to wax. I like to do 2 coats. About 2 hours. So 12 total if all goes smoothly.

So, 5 hours with an AIO, and I can hand wax my entire truck in 30-35 minutes. Removal about the same for a total of 6 hours. And because the AIO has a layer of LSP, I only feel the need to apply 1 coat of wax.

This is my personal experience only, but 6 hours compared to 12 is a no-brainer for me.

They call it "speed" for a reason. And it seriously looks incredible. You can prolong LSP indefinitely with wash n wax or spray waxes. Longevity is a moot point for me on my own car.

Another vote for Speed.....topped with Poxy. Because I like the shine & like touching the paint, that & the dwell time is another beer or 2.

Good point. I'm using AIO on the first dry weekend I get. Plan to put it on with a Porter. Then I plan to seal with a synthetic. Prolly Wolfgang 'cause I have some. From that point on, every time I wash, I'm gonna detail it with a spray wax. Because I have that sealant, I'm thinking the paint is protected for quite a while and. I'm gonna rely on the spray wax to give it the bling. So my time is minimal once I get the AIO and Sealant on the car. From that point forward, it's just a wash and a spray wax. I bought some Pinnacle Spray Wax. I have a feeling that paint is really gonna pop.

So the time invested is really only invested in that first weekend with the AIO and the Sealant. Yet from that, I get a paint cleanser, a mild polish, some filler and a sealant.

I'm with you. I've looked at this several ways to get the most amount of bling with the least amount of work. And I think this is it. BTW, if you haven't, invest in a Porter and about a dozen pads. I'm an absolute klutz and the Porter is a breeze with no chance of damaging the paint unless you drop the damn thing on the car.

I just used menzurna 3in 1 on my daughter Audi wiped it off with the plush side of the towel than I re wiped it with the shorter nap side of the towel wit a few squirts of opti seal. Let it dry over night topped it with midnight sun car looks a mile deep. I went with the 3 in 1 with oarnge uber pad on the foot 15 and mini.
Car had no swirls she doesn't wash it and I didn't put any in it on the de contamination
But will try hd speed next order
