Thanks for the pic...never seen that stuff before

P.S. You're in Taunton...I have family in Fall River....and, no, not the Borden family

If Optimum was a "pure" soap, I'd try it, but I don't think it is.

Autobright Magifoam
is by far my favorite for snow foam washes. Its ph neutral and the results are amazing! It comes from UK so its not cheap to get

Bilt Hamber Auto Foam is WAY more effective.

Bilt Hamber Auto Foam is WAY more effective.

BH Auto-Foam is my by far favorite prewash foam. On a winter dirty car the BH Surfex HD is even more great at cleaning. Not the most foaming products but how they works as a prewash is very impresive. I have a domestic brand prewash foam that is near BH in cleaning ability. Sadly they also added glossenhancers that interfear with the higher hydrophobic LSP.

I have not been able to test it out yet but have the BH Auto-Wash. Wondering if the corrosive inhibitors is going to mess with the LSP. But if you would have a car with a lot of bare metall or a classic that you wash traditional. I think that corrosive inhibitors could be much worth it. Or if you have a lot of deep rock chips that's down to the metall. I plan on use it as a last step before rinsing on my undercarriage. The dilution of 1:2000 is crazy low dilution.

I have an other brand my eyes on as they are making interesting products. Car soap with lime scale remover which can be effective to coatings if you have a lot of lime scale. That's if dried a little by little can clogg your coating during a longer time. Some from a domestic detailing forum has used it on coated cars with great success. Also the prewashes and cleaners seems to be very effective. Many uses one of their prewash foams as touchless washing and get very good results from it. It's slightly acidic based product. The brand is Ma-fra from Italy and their line Laboscosmetica is for the coating vehicals. A lot of interesting products for sure. If Meguiars products had been more cost effective for me I would have test out more from them. But it's up in cost that Carpro and Gyeon is for you and often even more expensive. But I surely understand that you get Meguiars products in the US. Also the UK brands like BH and Angelwax is very low price for them in UK. So it's much about where you live and the prices they have on imported products.

I wash both my cars just about every week so i have always gone through the cheap car wash soap i bought from local stores pretty quickly. Last year i bought two gallons of Hyper Wash and i don't think i am half way through the first gallon yet. That stuff goes a long way and works well. Definitely very economical.

Reset is my favorite, works great on coated cars. Optimum Car Wash is another consistent favorite, not as strong of a cleaner as reset, but still good suds and lubrication. Purchased recently Gyeon Bathe Essence, somewhat similar in lubricity as OCW, but not as good on the sudsing.

Will continue trying Essence and see where it lands for me.

I wasn't a fan of Bathe Essence. It's overall performance was quite underwhelming. It turned to almost yellow color and turned into a a firmer gel than when I first got it. Regular Bathe is better. Let us know how you like it.

Optimum car wash weekly. Great stuff. Favorite so far like Adams too but OCW is as good but cheaper. Reset is also awesome will probably use once a month.

Will do. Mine has already started to turn yellow, so I hope it doesn’t turn into a gel as well LOL. I was honestly a bit underwhelmed first wash, but I’ll give it some more seat time before making a final decision. The good news is that UK3.0 topped with Gliss v2 is super forgiving, just a foam and pressure wash releases a huge volume of the dirt without any agitation. I know you’re a fan of the CarPro coating twins because I read enough of your tips and tricks to get me through the application.

Meguiar's Gold Class Shampoo & Conditioner Car Wash
Adam's Car Shampoo
Duragloss Car Wash Concentrate

...are the three I have on hand and currently use. I would consider the the Meguiar's as probably my go-to considering price per quantity relative to performance.

I’m surprised about lack of Hyper Wash responses here. I feel as though one year ago 80% of the responses would be “Hyper Wash for mayor”. Not sure if people moved on or maybe the HW people just got tired of pointing out its dominance?

I’ll throw in two more of mine that aren’t coating related: Mckees Power Wash and BF Car Wash.

I have this and use it in my IK Foam 9 for pre-wash, works awesomely When the car is just dusty from a couple days I'll foam it, let it dwell and rinse and dry...done!

I have so many soaps it's hard to nail down just one but in my IK Foam 9 its AutoBrite Magifoam and Griot's Garage foaming surface wash, both are great at what they do there!

2BM's I like Reset, Bathe and Bilt-Hamber to name a few
