Absolutely love the reflection on that quarter panel! It's almost like you could see an entire city (or garage) in there. Very nice work.

As others have said, AMAZING!
Great work indeed, many hours but very rewarding results.
Funny to see the foam not sticking to the OC.

Wow, wow, wow!!! That's dedication at its best! You guys have that customer for life. Not a lot people would stay the entire day, (split in 2 days) to finish up a car. The results are amazing. Great team work as usual. Documentation is probably the best I have seen so far. You guys should make like a little book to the owner of the car with before and after progress. I am sure he would buy it. It would be a nice addition for him to take to car shows and promote you guys! Just a thought. Great work again.

I DID try the Flex with a MF and some 105/101...it marred horribly, would have taken just as much time to polish down that damn marring as it would to just cut each section a couple of times. I was able to work the wool and get a better finish...so yup..in this case...broke out the big boy! I seriously dont know how guys use to do it with 20 lbs polishers ...like seriously. Trunks and hoods...ok...vertical surfaces...hell no thats killer!

Garage was his...so envious. Wish it was ours lol. Like i keep saying... "one day" :dblthumb2:

Thank you:xyxthumbs:

Yea the Flex with mf is a bad combo. But the Flex with the purplefoam backed wool pad is a dream or a yellow foam pad w/ M101. That would light up the Camero!

I hear ya with the full size RB mines a Dewalt (8lbs but feels like 20) and a day with it then Advil is your friend. Try the Flex 14-2 now therse a sweetheart. Feels lighter than the 3401.

I still can't get over that garage I've never seem one that empty here in CA. I've got to get my garage looking better, inspirational indeed.

Very nice Write-up. I love how dedicated you guys were and how you stayed till the job got done!

Lots of work went into that car, nice wheels especially!

There aren't enough words to describe how great of a job you and your SO did. On the car and the thread. Wow, just wow.

Very nice..alway's nice to have a helper.

Great job! I'm just envious that you have a teammate just as dedicated!

If the silver was black, it'd be money. Great job on the detail. You guys rocked it.

Great work! Way to bring it back to life. :dblthumb2:

Thank you!

I really enjoyed this thread!

I like all the photos and writeup for each. It's was easy to follow along and understand what you and Dani were doing and more importantly why. I see you're still using the first generation Porter Cable 7424 dual action polishers. The one I have is about 15 years old not and is still going strong!

There's nothing like having the right tools to do the work....:props:

Superb photography and the after shots were gorgeous. :dblthumb2:

Bobby thank you. Yeah we still have a couple of the 7424's ...that was our first polisher and is still going...use it on almost every job :) Got a new toy to try out tomorrow from mr Kevin Brown...can't wait!

Glad you liked the photo's, its always exciting (and time consuming) to get home and see them on the computer screen...i always get re-surprised at just how bad it was and how nice it came out!

Awesome job!

Great write up too.

Thank you for reading :dblthumb2:

Great job on that Camaro, and Never apologize for lots of Pics , We Love Pics !!!

Hahaha, i guess thats true isn't it :Picture:

You know what, i honestly didn't even notice that in that photo...seriously lol...but you're right that was a pretty awesome (and unintentional) shot of that panel. Thanks for pointing that out and thanks for reading :dblthumb2:

That is funny about the foam isn't it? Makes us have to more our butts a lot faster during the was (still delicately of course) to make sure we get it done before the foam dries up...but if we don't...i'll usually wash each panel again while Dani rinses to be sure that no dirt stick during the rinse. Of course the OC makes that very easy.

Stunning turn around! You should be very proud of your work. Great job!

Thank you and yeah we're pretty proud..always trying to get better though!

You know thats not a bad idea actually...might be worth a shot..i know i need to put a photo book/album(s) together of jobs we've done...it would make a nice addition to our portfolio for sure.

Nice job Wills!

Marc whats up man...thank you...hope all is well with you over there!

Sweet write up! Excellent job on the car and this thread!

You inspire me!

Thank you both...glad you enjoyed it...now get out there and :buffing: lol

Never tried that combo w/the Flex...honestly i think i'll be selling it soon...like i mentioned earlier i bought myself a Rupes from mr buffdaddy (Kevin Brown) and hopefully it will become my new work horse.

I hear ya on the garage lol...we've run into a few of those..he even had an AC in there if i remember correctly! He offered to turn it on for us but it was pretty comfortable this time of year :)

Very nice Write-up. I love how dedicated you guys were and how you stayed till the job got done!

Always always always...we've had a few go longer than that...3 days on a re-painted...over sprayed...SUPER soft Lingenfelter Camaro...that car was a nightmare...love hate relationship for real...then 48 hours on a black escalade we did and applied OC to...its still looking damn good though :)

wow, that paint job is.. :dunno:

GREAT WORK!

lol selective taste i suppose..guess thats part of being a car owner right?

Lots of work went into that car, nice wheels especially!

Glad you liked both...we were whooped by the end of the day thats for sure...we had 6 polish outs in about 12 or 13 days....our bodies were pretty sore after those 2 weeks but we did have a very busy month all around and that was great...hope to repeat it this month.

Very nice..alway's nice to have a helper.

Helper=partner/sister....im as much of her helper as she is mine thats for sure...though she does stick me with the thread write-up duty hahaha

Great job! I'm just envious that you have a teammate just as dedicated!

Its hard to find someone you can trust..someone who will follow up behind you and you not only correct the haze ive left but double check the area and be able to either say "We're good" or "You need to hit this again". Thats how you know you're dedicated to what you do i think.

Case in point...did a ZL1 Camaro the week after this one...had the whole car done..was in the process of washing it to prep for Opti-Coat...got to the hood and i said "S***! I forgot to polish the small raised sections on the hood!".....the polishers came back out...Dani did those areas while i continued to IPA the rest of the car....then i re-washed the front part and THEN we coated...i think thats how you're suppose to do it...of course we miss things and make mistakes...but as long as you keep correcting them and not repeating them..its all good.

wow. good job

If the silver was black, it'd be money. Great job on the detail. You guys rocked it.

Thanks guys...red and black would be a pretty sweet combo huh :dblthumb2:
