Dodo Juice Tyromania Impressions.....

Hey Mark,

Nice review on the tire treatment! :props:

What a huge difference between the two products! Dodo Juice leaves the tire looking great and more of a new tire look while the DP product makes the tire look almost plastic...

Looks like I'll be contributing to more expansion down there...

Thanks for posting the photos Mark! :props:
You got it my friend!

However, I thought you were more of a glossy type tire dressing guy, Bobby? This is the exact opposite! I realllyyyyy like the look, though.

Mark, thanks for geting this review up, I have been anxiously waiting since you bought it ;)

Pretty unique stuff, I like the look on the tires. Product consistency could take some getting used to.

Sweet writeup and picture Mark!! Im the MAN. It looks like chocolate, not paste. Maybe chocolate toothpaste. Lol Have you tried UTTG or WGETS on tires? Probably last a good bit longer

Aha! The review that I've been waiting for! Glad you like the Tyromania Mark. :props:

Thanks for taking the time Mark. Keep us posted on the longevity of the dressing. :props:

Thanks everyone. Considering I clean my tires everytime I wash the car(once a week), durability shouldn't be an issue. However, I won't strip the tires this time around just to see the durability. Finally, I've found a tire dressing I can settle on! :)

Thanks for the nice review Mark!

I also like the look of your tires.

Since I have the same tires....I'm also interested in Tyromania's durabilty. Also, would you be so kind to report of any tire "sling" of this product, if there should be any? Thanks.

I'm tickled to death (well almost) that you are pleased with Tyromania! This will be the next "tyre" dressing for me to try. :)

Looks like some kind of stain. Why else would it be black?

Nice review Mark. I love Dodos products and this looks like another winner. Crazy how black and thick it looks in that picture! I'm kind of partial to DP's tire gel though simply because I have two 32oz bottles of it. As Bill stated, the consistency could take some getting used to.

Can anyone confirm or deny if this product has any sort of added pigments to help blacken the tire ?

I guess an easy way to tell would be to put some on a white towel and then rinse it off or wash the towel to see if it easily comes off.

Mark have you tried spritzing with water and buffing it to see if it makes a difference in gloss ?

I'm going to try that tomorrow when I strip the tires again. I'll report back after I do it.

How much product gets used on a tire? If the durability is 2-3 weeks, then the tyromania's durability is comparable to the WG and Pinnacle gels. If the durability is longer, and a small amount of product is used, this may be worth picking up...

It seems counter-intuitive that a nuba would leave a durable finish on a tire. Melting point will be far exceeded on a tire IMO!

Have yet to determine the durability. I let it get hot, then put it into a squeeze bottle. It thickened up a bit, but it still very useable in a squeeze bottle and much less messy. However, there's only about 4 ounces and I think it will go very fast.

Who knows? I believe #845 is carnauba based, and people use it in engine bays and rims...:dunno:

So you used 1 oz. to dress your tires once? Dang that seems very costly. 180 ml is roughly 5 oz. If it is that much, I think Ima have to pass. :props:

Why even bother with a dressing that adds no improved look over a clean tire? I just don't get it.

I don't get it either...once I saw it was black and messy...who needs that? To wind up with a tire that doesn't look dressed? Reminds me of a hundred years ago when you could buy a can of "tire black" that was basically some liquid black dye...

For me, it still makes the tire look better than when it's stripped. It darkens the tire and adds a tiny bit of sheen. Much better than DP that makes MY tires look like a shiny, greasy mess.
