Mobile Van still in progress!

I have tried the shop thing.. didnt work so well.. I have always been pretty mobile, but now I am truly mobile.

I can do commercial vehicles with a hot water pressure washer (Alkota 5355) or I can do a personal vehicle with a water hose, all connected to my trailer.. not having to use either the customers water nor electricity.. I call that truly mobile!!!!

Excellent job on the XL Classic.
That Eagle was filthy...pulpwood?

LOL Yes it is a pulpwood truck!!!

Got up on the motor to do the top with a brush, wasnt to bad, sure with I had a pic to show you the before!!! Never would have thought it would come as clean as it did..

When It came here it was for sale, now the owner wants to keep it Thats the second time thats happened!!! :dblthumb2:

Does running a generator in the van with the doors open affect the generator performance

if you were asking me about the generator? I dont have a van, the generator sits on top of my side box and the water pump is below it..

Im gonna have to take some pics of the trailer, its got a cool set up easy access to everything!!!

thanks:xyxthumbs:

Pick-up truck set-up

Hey all, just got my 68 Gal water tank yesterday and thought I would post a pic of my mobile set-up thus far. Ill have what you see in the pic, plus a 25 Gal compressor, Shop Vac, air hose, extension cord and hose reel with 50 ft of pressure washer hose. The pump I have chosen is a Cat unit mounted to my Honda GX 5.5 HP engine. Ill also have my Mytee Lite 8070 in the rear crew cab area of my truck.

Got about 10-14 jobs lined up for the next two weeks, so I'm looking forward to getting things together!

I'm all stocked up on chemicals and my PC 7424XP is ready as well. Spring is here...it seems most people are just waiting for the roads to clear up now before they pull the trigger.

I'm thinking about building a wood frame as the base of it all - so I can bolt everything down and keep it secure. Eventually I might switch to a welded up steel frame though.

Planning a rear perforated window film to match my biz cards...maybe a sidewalk type sign too that I can throw on display at jobs...might also think about a tailgate wrap but dont want to overdo things.

Ill post more pics as things progress....

Anyone got any suggestions?

With the gas generators...I've never owned one.

1. Do you leave them in vehicle when in need of use or do you pull them in and out.

2. It supplies enough power to use an extractor, vacuum, buffer, pressure washer etc?

Thanks a bunch in advance. I have a 2012 ford transit, and I've mainly been doing full details but I'm in need of mobile wash.

The whole thing installed cost $300. I wasn't ready for a full wrap job. Water tank/generator/pressure washer coming soon!

My generator is left in the van. The exhaust is ran ouside. The vac is the only thing I take out of the van .

Here's the finished truck all loaded up.

Vac, generator, compressor w/ hose reel, Karcher self priming pressure washer and 65 gallon tank!

Mytee Lite goes inside the cab with the supplies.

Tell me what you think.

I think you'll want to replace the plastic quick connects with brass ones...other than that...lookin nice :)

Hey jgibson2980 - yup sure am!

Check out my website tripleshinedetailing.com

I had to change colour to yellow but its red on biz cards.

Thx again!

Brass fittings....on the Karcher u mean?
Where do I get them?

Awesome...thanks a lot!

I take it the plastic ones break....

Whats the best foam gun I could use...I remember seeing one that attaches to the Karcher...anyone recall?

What is common practice for product storage? I'm kind of new to the mobile side of detailing and I'm worried about leaving my product in my truck or enclosed trailer. Is that something I need to worry about or will it be fine?

Long as it doesn't freeze you'll be fine. Hopefully we're past that by now!!!!!

Very nice.
