Post Your Unpacking Pictures

I also saw the review of the Cerakote yesterday.
I've never used the product but something seemed off to me as well.
The only product that fails that quickly is F11.

So he had to make sure it did or he would not have gotten an invite from that visit . I haven’t watched his videos in a long time and not do I intend to.

LOL Probably. He did keep his review of it the same (8/10) which was before he went out there.

Alaska uses salt but different than most places (I think), here they mix it into the enormous piles of dirt they prepare each year for sanding the roads

It keeps the piles of dirt from freezing into solid mounds of ice

Regardless we end up with salt on the road and over the last few years they have started spraying salt brine as well so we get hit pretty hard at times

I like anything that stays on the surface and dwells rather than running down immediately so yeah, I am prepared to embrace foaming

Look into the Frothe salt version. I like the original. Tricky at first to get spray pattern down at first but now it’s a breeze.

I would treat it like a pre treat in your case and then do a rinseless.

Is there anything about the AMMO foaming sprayer that other brands can't do?

$60 seems a bit steep

I like it’s spray pattern the best(at least with frothe.

I feel it’s not as rugged as IK and Marolex.

Marolex foam pattern with s worse would definitely not but that one. I’ve seen it with others too not just my experience.

IK’s are decent all around.

You can get the Ammo from “E San Francisco” it’s made buy Epoca. Looks the same. I just bought Larry’s basically for all the support you get from him.

When I called with an issue I got him. Not to many other influencers answering their phones with advice about their products.

If I have one recommendation it’s skip the hand helps and get a full size like the IK foam pro 12.

That's all the reason I need and very well said

I love your term "Influencers", very accurate and descriptive

That is a massive battery.

It may be a surprise but since getting mine, I haven’t washed a car to try it yet. But I’ve used it several times to blow leaves and it’s amazing. The battery does deplete quite fast when using all 765 CFM but for the amount of leaves I have, it was plenty for a few sessions. I’m sure it will be enough for drying a norma size car as well.

The difference I noticed with drying a car is that you hold it much closer to your head/ears when you're doing the top of the car. You're not gonna do that when blowing leaves. The noise was enough that I'd consider using some ear plugs next time. Either some corded earplugs I can keep handy or some high definition plugs I have that only give ~10db reduction.

What are you waiting for. It works well. It has enough battery to get around a mid size. don't always need the turbo aspect. Get some ear protection because you will need it.

I definitely will use ear protection. I haven’t used it on a car yet just because I haven’t washed one. Either no time or bad weather on days I could. My wife’s car definitely needs a wash. Mine is dusty and due for a wash later this week.

I use Sony noise cancelling headphones when I'm detailing, especially useful when using either the Big Boi or EGO.

I have the same ones, they're great. I use them mowing the lawns and detailing as well. I also use them when walking the dogs, but with the noise cancelling feature turned off, so I have some situational awareness. They were a Chrissie present from Mum, about 4 years ago, and they're still going strong.

The Sony's replaced a set of Sennheiser PXC 550-II. I bought those Sennheiser thinking they were top qaulity, but they were junk, constantly cycling on and off because the magnet switch was not made strong enough, a very common theme with the PXC 550. Very frustrating, especially considering the price premium they command.

DFB Tip - Do Not Buy those Sennheiser's.

The new Sony's look like they're good headphones. I have Bose QC35's but I don't use them for detailing.
