Spray Sealants - 3-6 months

Forensic Detailing Channel and several other reviews. Durability is unknown but beading is apparently top notch.

Yeah I've only seen the new vid from Forensic. I have not seen any other reviews on it. I'm not counting product reviews from outfits that sell it, since I never take those seriously for obvious reasons.

Here are the spray-on-wipe off sealants I've tired that have lasted ~3 months or longer. Note that I'm not checking beading. I don't get the point. I am checking for sheeting of a panel in under 10 seconds. You can get better longevity from wipe-in-wipe off sealants.

Note that the last 5 are still being tested and are all expected to go 12 weeks or longer. I need to check them again this weekend.

I’m surprised that Wolfgang spritz Sealant isn’t getting more love here. It’s got great protection, lasts long, and provides a beautiful look.

That does not appear to be a product they still sell.

I've had Sonax PNS on one of my DDs and its still beading decently 1yr 2months+ later driven in all weather/winter, washed weekly or less... though after 1yr+ now I do notice it is getting harder to keep clean, so its beading but not a lot of protection now, I've been impressed for sure. (Was applied ~May 20 '23) So it will last 6 months easy it seems...

Pan's new Ceramic Spray Sealant looks really good. 🫢

Wait--Pan came out with his own line of products?
He did. He sought out the best chemists (he claims) in the world and had them compete. Most of his products are made in the US with one global.

Still using TW HYBRID SOLUTIONS. Flex wax and wet wax along with the spray ceramic coating are still my favs. I see no reason to change at this point.

I watched Pans video about his own product line, but haven’t seen any of his products.
I’m betting they will be high quality however sounds like they will be pricey if he produces them as he described in the video.

I haven't watched that but from what was said earlier, that sounds like standard detailing product hype/hyperbole. It's what every seller of private-labeled products says to deflect from them not having an actual chemist or product manufacturing company like Meguiar's, Optimum, Mothers, etc. Heck, I think Griot's has their own chemist.

I dunno, it's going to be hard to take these YouTube personalities seriously when they are all coming out with their own product lines. Not that this isn't standard industry practice, it's just that the medium has changed. And maybe this has been going on at YouTube (serial reviewers starting their own product lines) for a long time, it's just I never really watched detailing vids on YouTube until the last year or two.

Just went to house of rags website and looked at Pans line of products. They are just as I suspected and that is pricey.
For example $19.00 for a 16 oz bottle of car shampoo. I can get a half gallon of Turtle Wax, Slick and Slide for $20.00.
I highly doubt one is better than the other and both would be found to give the same experience.
