I know this thread is mostly about the hose...what about the other side...where the garden hose connects. I hear some say they use QD's on this. Do you all use the alumninum fitting with the mesh screen in it with the green top that connects to the PW on one side and the garden hose on the other? I'd really like NOT to use that as it seems very flimsy. Which QD"S is everyone using on this side?

I use MTM brass qd’s coupled with a Dramm brass shutoff valve and the stock sunjoe aluminum fitting. And it’s solid as a rock! I also added a screen filter inside the shutoff valve to catch the initial water sediment before it gets caught by a secondary screen at the pump inlet. You’d be surprised how much crap builds up in a short amount of time.
Having everything (inlet and outlet) setup with QD’s makes setup and breakdown super fast. Ill post pictures of my complete setup next time it’s nice out.
These finally came in from Aliexpress..gonna see if they fit into the Sun Joe reel of the SPX Reel! Looks pretty darn close to the factory SunJoe fitting..will try and test fit in next few days...

Can I buy the sunjoe spx3001 + Complete MTM Swiveling Sprayer & Wand Solution - Obsessed Garage and call it a day? With the adapter of course.
I have some old AR383 that can't be adapted to this it has some weird quick connect and leaks anyway..

You can but if your like me you’ll probably want for a longer hose. If I could do it again I’d get Sun Joes offering w out the built in reel so that getting a longer hose for like the spray gun isn’t gonna be a PITA!

did you ever try out those fittings you bought?
Have you found a solution? I'm actually considering that option as well. But, would also need a longer pressure washer hose, which seems like its gonna be difficult

Just a long shot for most, I'd think. But I am lucky enough to have a company near me that is a high-end welding company that also does all forms of hydraulic repair.
They can form & fit any length PW hose you desire. I've had them replace countless PW hoses for me when I worked at the marina.

possibly, i was expecting to see it attached to the power washer base though? My throughts are just getting a new standard 14mm M22 hose (something like the uberflex hose on amazon which is 14mm M22). To get that hose to fit i would need to put a 15mm M22 femal to 14mm m22 maie adapter on the pressure washer unit, then i can just hook the hose up and put on any MTM hydro pistol foamer without any other non standard type adapters.
Am i missing something?
