I can see that there s a fusion fan here !

Yes I am, I like everything but country, LOL!

I have been listening to Miles all day, the early stuff isn't fusion but what I have on right now from Miles "Big Fun" and "On the Corner" is. I've been hangin' out the house by myself while the wife is doing her side work, its been gray and rainy all day, so I've been unwinding with some Miles.

I also like Weather Report and Jeff Beck's fusion stuff like "Wired" and "Blow by Blow" but then again, how could you not:dblthumb2: I'm a HUGE Hendrix fan and IMO he was moving in the direction of jazz fusion, especially working with Miles before he died. Kinda funny he was working with Miles before he died as he was "working" Miles' then wife too (Betty Mabry), LOL! I can only imagine what the jazz fusion sound of Miles and Hendrix would've sounded like!

Alright, I've changed gears a bit, switched to a guitar God that doesn't get his due!

I've got Robin Trower "Twice removed from Yesterday" and "Bridge of Sighs" on right now, debut and sophomore effort! I saw him at the Royal Oak Music Theater in the fall of 2006 (they filmed a concert movie there for the tour also) and let me tell you, he killed it! This little, thin, gray haired guy comes on stage and just brought it! He played everything I wanted to hear and it sounded great because the venue is small, like being in someone's basement back in the day with these albums cranked all the way up. The sound he got out of the guitar was amazing and at the time he was 61 or 62 years old IIRC. I'm just glad I got to see him in concert:dblthumb2:
