    Mold and mildew removal.

Ozone machine. They're kind of expensive, but I'm sure someone near you has one and offers the service. I would thoroughly clean the carpets with a hot water extractor. Use a dehumidifier to completely dry. Then stick the ozone machine in for at least an hour, or two if necessary.

    Please critique my new website

I personally don't care for all the useage of your name. Chris does this, Chris does that, and when Chris is done, etc... Then on other pages you refer to your business as "We". I feel you need to pick a direction, and go with it. I for one use "We" on my website...referring to me and my...

    Optima steamer...

Yeah, I think I got over the whole steamer thing a while ago, ha. Haven't even thought about getting one. It was mainly just something I wanted to use for indoor washes in the winter. Since then I've gotten the heat on my pressure washer fixed. So, I'll just blast them with hot water...

What on Earth is this??? Please help

Just looks like a haze to me. Which could mean many things. But, I would guess it wasn't compounded after sanding. It's hard to tell just by the photos.

    Show your mobile van setup!

I was gonna say, you must be a carpenter. Cause if I tried to do that...it would be bad, haha. Honestly, if you were anywhere near me, I would pay you to do this to my van, ha. No, seriously. :xyxthumbs:

    Paint issues after polishing

It looks to me like some of the clear coat had tiny pin holes...probably from failure. Looks like either compound, or polish got stuck in them. That's what I see.

OK, how do I get work?

You gotta get accounts. That's the best way to jump start. If you only want 1 a week....then maybe that's not the best method for you. 1 a week should be obtainable through friends, family, etc. Sometimes it's not. If you really want to kick start your business...I say hit up dealerships...

Working for a hand car wash place.

Yes, work there...and steal as many customers as possible. I'm sure that would be a fantastic way to start some great word of mouth, ha. Good lord.

    Is Iron-X Really Worth it?

Depends what you mean by "is it worth it?". For me...I would ask myself, is it cost effective? Cause I really only detail my customers vehicles. My personal vehicle never sees the light of day. If I did detail my own...I would say it's definitely worth it. On a business stand point...

    input on these scratches

You can definitely improve the overall damage. Some of those scratches look repairable. But, there's a good 2 or 3 of them that look bad. I'd fill them in with touch up paint, tape it off, and sand down to blend. It will not be noticeable at a short distance. Up close, obviously you'll...

    input on these scratches

Those look pretty deep to me. Especially that jagged looking one. I don't know for sure. But, if I HAD to make a snap judgment based on the photo...I'd say there's no way you're getting those out. But, photos can be very deceiving.

As a detailer... I pictures can speak a thousand words, what is this picture saying?

The majority of high end car owners would rather go through a car wash than trust it in the hands of a detailer. Not because they shouldn't trust a detailer....but, because unfortunately most detailers can't be trusted. I'm not pin pointing anybody here of course. Truth is...detailers with...

Weekly Drywashed - 2 years and running - Sun Shots

Ha, call me up! I've been busy as hell, as I'm sure you have been too. I hear ya, no matter what...they will get swirls regardless. I agree, the dry method is perfectly fine for a regular service. Most customers could care less about swirls. Usually when I point them out to a customer, they...

Weekly Drywashed - 2 years and running - Sun Shots

Man, I feel like this toss up never ends, ha. Anthony...you don't need to "prove" yourself to anybody. I think the whole dry wash thing is understood at this point. At least I get it. I gotta say though. Saying it is a safe swirl free way to wash your vehicle is a bit untrue. If you took...

Does a new car need to be clayed?

I'd be surprised to find even a new car with no surface contaminants. If you plan on polishing at all...always clay.

    Caribbean

Jamaica is great. Plus, they speak english. The Dominican is nice as well. I've been to Punta Cana, but english is less likely there. I found Jamaica to be more pleasurable. In two weeks I'll be in Mexico, just sayin! :dblthumb2:
