MTM PF22.2 Wide Mouth Foam Cannon

I got the $35 foam cannon from Harbor Freight. It has the wide mouth and seems to work great.

    DFB's Soapy Notes

Have you tried the Bilt Hamber Autowash yet? I saw a reply where you mentioned it, but didn't see the review. Great job by the way, lots of good info!

    List your coating that failed!

I had a weird failure of Optimum Gloss Coat. At about the 5 year mark, it seemed to turn into a film. It left this weird film that wouldn't come off with a wash. You could see exactly where I had taped off around emblems and such. Those non-coated areas still looked fine. I finally polished...

    Optimum Gloss-Coat - 2015 Ram 1500

There doesn't seem to be many reviews of Optimum Gloss-Coat on here yet. Like many others, I was also turned off by the discontinuation of Opti-Coat 2.0. I've done several cars with it and was very pleased with it. I just traded in a 2011 Audi S4 that had Opti-Coat 2.0 on it for about 4...

    My Perfect Tire Cleaner

Another post above kind of describes what I mean. It doesn't seem to get in there and start turning brown like others I have tried. With a brush, it just moves around without really doing anything. Tuf Shine, Bleche White, and others start pulling out dirt and dressing before I even start...

    My Perfect Tire Cleaner

I think D101 is terrible on tires. I've tried it up to 3:1 and it just sits on top of the tire dressing and does not pull any dirt out. Tuf Shine is my favorite so far. I have a new bottle of OPC, but have not tried it yet. I use Zaino's tire dressing, so nothing silicone based and still had...

    Worst wheels I've encountered

I had a BMW 335i in the past and now have an Audi S4. My summer wheels stay in good shape, but winter wheels sometimes go for a while without a good cleaning and have this same problem (not as bad as your pictures, just in the corners of the spokes.) I've tried almost everything to see what...

    Confidence in Rinseless Wash

It took me a while to get comfortable with it too. I love it now though. I normally do the 2 bucket method, but plan on trying Garry Dean's way this weekend. My only hangup on the Audi I have is that the wheels get so filthy. It is tough to clean them with rinseless. I use a separate wheel...

VERSUS PART 1: CG Diablo vs Sonax Full Effect

Have you ever tried Meg's WB? My Audi's winter wheels went way too long without a wash this year. I thought the Opticoat would still make them easy to clean, but the brake dust was too much for it. None of my regular wheel cleaners would get all the brake dust particles out of the spoke corners...

Video Comparison of CQF and OG

I like the look of CQ, but OC definitely has the edge in durability, at least in my tests. I also prefer the Optimum method of application. It seems weird to me that OC doesn't feel slick, but it releases dirt so well.

Protecting ventureshield on a long road trip... Wolf's The Mask???

I have Ventureshield on two cars. They sometimes go weeks without washing. As mentioned above, I just use a light polish for anything that won't come off. Also, one has Opticoat and one has CQuartz on it.

Will Autogeek PLEASE pick this item up?

I bought some pumps at Autozone and they are identical to the AG one and also have the same problems. I threw away the last one yesterday and ordered some of the proportioners from AG.

Best AG Equivalents to Zaino Products?

Thanks, I forgot about the Duragloss comparison. Looks like some 253 and 441 will find their way into my cart for the next order.

Best AG Equivalents to Zaino Products?

I used to be one of the Zaino fanboys. I still think their products are good, but found out other companies have stuff just as good. I have replaced almost everything I bought from them with other products available from Autogeek. I am finally running out of three products that I love and was...

    Waxed Wheels Maintenance?

Think of Opti-Coat as Opti-Seal on steroids. Opti-Seal may give you a month or two on wheels, depending on if you use wheel cleaners or not. Opti-Coat will stay on the wheels until it is polished off. I also drive a German car and the Opti-Coat is the best stuff I have tried so far. I have...

    garage lighting?

My attached garage had two 100-watt bulbs too. I replaced them with strip fluorescents and got a lot better light. I don't think just replacing the bulbs will do much.

What's your favorite WW (waterless wash)?

Definitely UWW+! I use ONR for rinseless, but it is not nearly as slick for waterless. I use UWW+ to clean my benches, garage cabinets, etc. too.

What is keeping u from coating your car instead of sealant/wax?

I just had the exact same experience. I did OC 2.0 on my Audi two weeks ago. It was covered with pollen after sitting outside at work all day Monday. It rained Tuesday and the car looked almost freshly washed. The rain also blew off the surfaces like crazy when I was driving .. it was almost...

    meg apc?

I use 4:1 for wheels, tires, undercarriage, etc. I use 10:1 for the lighter stuff like interiors, sills, etc.
