Count me in please. I recently picked up some of the Uro-Tech pads and I will write my review up this weekend. I tried the blue ones with my Rupes 21.
I am really interested in trying MF pads with the Rupes.
I was just about to suggest HD Poxy due to their claim of having the highest temp threshold. Granted, I have not yet tested Poxy myself. I do own it and I will be applying it tomorrow.
I also live in SoCal. I have had good luck with Jetseal, Powerlock and Collinite 845 as far as durability...
I noticed a few sites sell brushes for the Rupes. I purchase an extremely used Rupes 21 and I would like to do a refresh of the machine if possible. How often are the brushes supposed to be changed? Any benefits to replacing often?
In my experience, there is no better cutting pad for the PC than a MF pad. As Jeff pointed out, the finishing is not the best. If the vehicle is black you will more than likely have to polish after.
I had some extra time Saturday morning to work on my car. Since it was in the garage I used ONR to clean it up, along with several TRC edgeless towels. I love the way ONR makes my car look but I wanted a little more this time. I dusted off the CG whitelight and applied it with my PC and black LC...
I went ahead and purchased the liter of w6 wax as well as the purple and orange foam pads since the blue ones were out. I figure for 20 bucks they can't be that bad.
