I'd set up a "pointer" on your old .us domain and move everything over to the .com domain. If you have to wait 60 days to transfer the domain to your new hosting provider I'd just wait it out...You can leave godaddy they just don't make it easy...I did it a little over a year ago...

I think everyone looking to "upgrade" goes through this same dilemma. I went through it about 6 months ago and read through many of the other threads devoted to this topic. I was upgrading from the first generation, Griot's polisher--a relabeled Porter Cable. I ended up going with the Rupes...

On their website they say: Constant cruise power technology (operates under load) Does that mean "forced rotation?" So is this a Flex clone?

There's been some speculation (and that's all it is) that you could see them offer a clone with a bigger throw--like the Rupes. Have they ever been backordered for this long? Could they be coming out with something new? I don't know, just guessing/wondering...

I agree, they'd have to take another $100 off that price to make me even think to experiment with it....

Folks, I can't thank you all enough for all of this great advice. What a great forum. I didn't even know what to call the mark until I came here--"paint transfer." That's definitely what it is. I'll be getting on this over the next week or so and let you all know how it came out--so to speak!

I have a nanoskin....I have both the pad for my orbital and the smaller sponge...do you think that would be an OK substitute for clay in this instance? And I'll give Tar-X a try as well. Sorry for the picture but it's a paint transfer...some flakes off...

Folks, would love to get your thoughts. I'd like to polish my father in laws truck, it's in pretty good shape for being 10 years old, however, on one side he has a bit of paint from a time when he scaped the truck into the side of his garage. The photo is below. The scrape is about 8 inches...
