It stopped raining long enough for me to wash hood and the roof too see how they are doing. The short story is: not doing well. They're all beading when it rains (sorry, no pic) but the sheeting from most of them is gone. Not sure how strongly this indicates coating/sealant health, but I assume it does.
I washed the hood and the roof with McKee's N-914 at the rinseless concentraion. Hood had a litle visible dirt, roof had none. After washing it I rinsed and washed it again.
Hose to the hood.

Cquartz UK sheeting well, Duragloss Trackclaw (not a coating) sheeting ok. Nothing else is sheeting at all. Not the best pic, but Cquartz is the upper left section, Trackclaw is the lower left.

So what does this mean? Here's my guess: all of these went on in low temps. They got extended cure times but I suspect 2-3x the recommended cure time at 50 degrees or below is not enough. And given that most coatings say they'll continue curing for a week or longer, these just never got a chance to fully cure. They went out into the elements after 48 to 72 hours and were pretty much constantly wet or frozen. I think most coatings need a little more help, and just aren't going to fully cure at 40 degrees and covered in water.
Cquartz UK is advertised as being cold weather friendly, and this certainly seems to confirm that. It's not sheeting as quickly as it did a month ago, but close. I to wonder if any coating is going to hold up well given the weather where I live: 7 months of rain and road grime, with ice, snow, sleet, and other bad stuff for a month or two. I may just be too much to expect.
I'll give this another try when it warms up and I can expect the coatings to stay dry for most of a week or more. That's likely June or July for me, unless I can garage one car for week or so before then.
