Anything Better the Turtle WAx Endura Tire Shine?

Yes I am also gonna buy the McKees tire coating on next order to try it out, I have a heck of a time with the turtle wax coating on Michelin tires for some reason, it looks good for a short time but then we'll, doesn't lol. All that is required is a quick swipe of another coat on top and it is lasting longer than water based products but I had other vehicles with other tires like Bridgestone, Goodyear, Firestone that all took the coating better

Tire brand makes a huge difference.

Just a couple of thoughts:

Just because something lasts for a long time, doesn't mean it's good for the tire.

And why is it always brought up when mentioning TW Endura Tire Shine, that it's THE BEST tire product out there, because it's Shine lasts so long.

#1, I personally don't like Shine with my tire products. I feel that WETS gives me the Gorgeous satin, black look that I had been looking for and that I Love. Also, it probably doesn't last for 6 months to a year, but I still have my original WETS coat on my tires and it is now May. I've had it on since January, and have only had to swipe a few faded spots since then. to me, WETS is WELL worth the money, and is also in My Eyes, the BEST tire product out there for me.

SHINY and LONGEST lasting really doesn't mean anything to me, unless it's producing the results that I am personally looking for.

I do not get that shiny glossy look when using TW. Actually I get a nice black sheen almost matte like. You can do more coats and go for the wet look, but I don't prefer it. And last application I went 8 months, including winter, and still had sealant on the tire, which I only had to top coat twice and they look great again. So for me, it works quite well.

Here we go again. What makes you think it's no longer being sold? It's on the Turtle Wax website, and I can buy it right now from that south American river place.

You seem to be rallying as much as those saying it is discontinued. On the Turtle Wax FB page the question was asked and they point the individual to one store that has some in stock. They could have easily pointed to their own site. Again, I think those that like this product are in agreement that we hope we are wrong and it will still be available. For now, I will enjoy paying half price for it when I find it. And you mnetion that South American River "Place", can't say that is much help to me in my search for product.

I have no dog in this hunt, I only point out the facts as I find them. TW doesn't sell products at their site, but they still show this as a product at their site. If you click on "where to buy" they provide active links to Wal****, Ama*** and Pep **** where you can order online (and one to O'Reilly auto parts that you can't), and if I punch in my zip code it shows various Pep **** and Tar**** where I could buy it.

I can't help but compare this to CCA Pressure Treated Lumber, although they no longer use CCA due to safety concerns, it is still available at some home centers due to the vast stockpile ready to go when the government stepped in. I can say, without a doubt, that it is very dificult to find here, and if you do it will be on the clearance shelf. I spoke with many store managers who said they will not be getting any new stock of it. I feel this is much more reliable than a link on the web. At the end of the day I am happy to pay less for it, and even share it with a fellow member who could not find it anywhere.

I can't help but compare this to...

I'm not disagreeing with you, but usually in these instances the mfr. pulls it from their website. Anyway, I'm likely to be going to a couple of big-box stores in the next day or two, I'll peruse the shelves for the benefit of the membership.

I think he is trying to help you without breaking the forum rules ;) But like you I am clueless at where that could be ;) But I am not american so that might not help the matters ;)

Oh you mean the Wonderwoman company! Why did I not click before ROFL!

LOL, that post on facebook was from ME! How freakin funny. I am going to stop at Oh Oh O'reily's tonight and confirm it is not there. I stopped a few weeks ago and they didn't have it either. All of my Wal-mart, Autozone, and Advance Auto no longer carry it. It is available from the river store at regular price.

Just leaving the store I was directed to. I bought the last one on their blow out shelf for 1.99.

So you're saying every single one of the brands carried by AGO is better? Out of respect for this site I will only say I disagree.

Well I'll just say this, ANY non-tire coating sold here or anywhere else for that matter, is NOT going to out perform TW tire coating, period! I didn't know about the McKee's tire coating but if someone has some laying around (hint, hint) I'd be happy to compare it to TW tire coating.

I'm also aware of the forum rules and it seems it used with some leeway as well, for example, I did a test of TW and DP and although DP is pretty good it just didn't match up to TW. Its too bad TW has made yet another great product only to not promote it and let if fall by the way side but still make ICE products, LOL. I wonder if TW has ever heard of Auto Geek?

I did see it was posted that ANY product sold here is better, not sure what flavor of Kool-Aid is the forum favorite, but I still like cherry!

AFAIK there were no changes to the tire coating when the DP morphed into McKee's 37, so in effect you've already tested it.

Forrest from Mothers had some numbers when they stopped making the rinseless wash, I really don't think TW cares about PBMG, the numbers required for national brands are just so large. Of course with Competition Ready on TV I think we're going to see a lot of growth at Autogeek, which may changes things a bit, but PBMG is going to take quite a while before they are making TW's numbers.

Just think how much product is required to stock the shelves at 3000+ Wal-Marts, Targets, Pep Boys, Autozone, Advance Auto, etc.

Wow, $1.99 at a store they told you to go to. If that does not scream discontinued I don't know what does. But hey, I was wrong once before...lol.

Ok, ok, you win.

You know last year when this came up, I ran out (figuratively) and bought a bottle from Ama..., then next time I was in Wal-Mart there it was on the (regular) shelf for less. So maybe I've been carrying a grudge since then. I'm probably not going to get to use the stuff until about 2019, anyway, which is when I predict the dressings I have will run out...maybe 2020.

I asked the clerk if they could get anymore. He said how many do you want, I said how many can you find!

TW has a sheen, NOT shiny! As far as there being a problem with it lasting a long time...please enlighten me to as why THIS is a problem, LOL

I know I'm one of the biggest fan boys of this product but I've a complete and thorough test and based on what I saw on a daily, weekly and monthly basis I gave the nod to TW.

Pinnacle Black Onyx was mentioned before and it's the product I last used before finding and using TW and it's a great product but even putting it on thin it would still sling a bit, TW has NEVER done thus making it an easy choice.........IMO
