I went comet hunting tonight, it's called C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS), and it has a period of 80,000 years, the last time it was this close the Neanderthal still roamed the earth.

Has it been that long? There was this guy I used to work with...

That is our digital TV antenna, I was using it as a guide for where to point the camera, I could have cropped it out, but I liked the perspective.

What is that, a frog lure?

I got the last set of winter tires/wheels swapped out on the little blue car

We were supposed to have a few days in the low 40s and I was holding out for one last full maintenance wash on the cars but it looks like that isn't happening so I finally gave up and winterized the pressure washer and got it out in the shed with the rest of the summer stuff

It will most likely be 50 tomorrow

I checked over the snowblower and went to get fresh gas and the 4Runner almost didn’t start

The battery is 6years old and it has been flaky for a while so I went to NAPA and got a new battery and installed it and returned the core

I also got my gas and the snow is building up so I’ll probably need it tomorrow

I'm the opposite here. I make money from cutting grass, especially from early spring through to mid/late Autumn. But Spring has been so slow this year that the grass hasn't taken off like it would normally have done by now. I'm hoping this doesn't mean extended summer heat.
