Yeah I'll sub to this one too. Wow, 6 pages in a day!
I'm also one of those that doesn't have to pay the bills with detailing, just as long as I break even, and I've spent 4K+ easily last year. (
And didn't buy a big steamer, carpet extractor, or ANY buffers or equipment that has a power cord on it other than a couple of new lights.)
I do understand why it'd be good to get ahold of Jason, but there are plenty of others there
that work for Jason that can field calls, like Trey, Andre, Ray, Brian, Nick, Danielle, Brittany, Jeff, plus Kendra and Penny. Half of them I've spoken to, PM'd or emailed one time or another and everything was handled to beyond my expectations.
I do seem to remember a while back (when I got my business license) I looked into wholesale accounts at AG and the minimums I just couldn't meet. I suspect many shops cannot unless perhaps they have a staff of 10 or only order twice a year!
Did a quick look at a few case lots just now though. They are priced right at 16% to 22% less than buying retail sizes. I guess the trick there would be when everything is 20% off that you are indeed buying at "Case Lot Prices". As is stated there, "
Additional discounts do not apply".
I know I too buy from other sources, say Car-Pro for instance. But with the constant discounts available and free shipping even vendor prices don't really make up the difference.
I bet Max would beg to differ though on the breakout of his account holders status. They move a
ton of product, high end products, products that Wal-Mart has never heard of and wouldn't sell if they did.
Were I to be reselling I'm sure there isn't enough meat on the bone without further price concessions though,
that is plainly evident. I mean, a guy really needs to make 15 ~20 points to stay in business!
