My family always goes overboard for Christmas. For car detailing I received the Pinnacle leather combo, an Opti-Mitt, a variety of Ultima products, and a Wagner 905 steamer. My girlfriend gave me a watch and a titanium money clip with a carbon fiber inlay.

My car looks absolutely terrible right now. It is covered in salt and dirt. I would be ashamed to post a pic of it. Later this week I will try to take it to one of those manual sprayer type cash washes and clean it up. :cry:

Not that I am heavy poster, but I tried to keep up with reading the threads at least. I can relate to what was said already, though. This time of year it is hard to keep up with forums because of work and holiday shopping.

Thanks for posting this. You always do great work, and I appreciate the attention to detail you put into these reviews. I picked up some of this stuff during their BOGO but haven't had the opportunity to use it yet. My all weather mats are getting filthy, so I think you've just convinced me...

I hate the peanuts, too, but I always forget to ask for paper packaging. Either way, though, I have never seen shipments packed so neatly as AG does it. It is really impressive.

That's how I understood it. If it is too slick then the clay can't effectively pick up contaminants.

That's where I was from originally. Still have lots of family around that area. Wasn't it just 50+ degrees yesterday? I was inside the office all day and came out to see the snow. Still snowing now here actually.

My strategy at this point is to ask for detailing products for Christmas rather than buying them myself. I have a lot of gift buying to do for my girlfriend since she has put up with all of these Autogeek boxes arriving on a weekly basis. :)

I admit I have not tried many different clay bars but have really liked DI Ultra Fine.
