Disappointing products

I forgot to add most of the Griots line, its so overpriced it isnt even funny. And the products perform "okay". You can get better results from OTC products like Meguiars or Mothers at half the cost almolst.

No way a pro detailer could afford to go all Griots.

I have gotten excellent results from most Griot's products I have used. Only one I didn't like is their clay, it worked well, but was too sticky for me.

Don't like Meguiar's NXT that I used on the wife's FJ. Way to short lived.

Liquid Glass...leaves a mean shine, but is hard as concrete to remove

Ultima Paint Guard + is a dud. I've never had good luck with Stoner glass cleaner either. I think Safeway is better and I can get it at Menard's for next to nothing. My Dad used to buy cases of it to clean the cases at his Jewelery store. Great stuff.

Groits products work, more or less than same as any off the shelf product, however you need to be an investment banker to afford them. Prices are nuts.

Sorry, but to be honest WG auto bathe disappointed me.

Amen... score yet another one for a disappointed WG Autobathe user. There's only one guy on here (can't remember the name) who said he like WG autobathe... he claimed he noticed no difference in that versus DP and Pinnacle... interesting. They need to rework that product.

Strongly disagree on this one. I am almost positive your application technique is the culprit. This product is morphing into my favorite sealant. It has 4Star UPP looks at a fraction of the time. You need to follow the instructions on the Ultima site to the T. And in this case, the "T" stands for THIN THIN THIN. When you think you've gone thin enough, go thinner yet, and when you're that thin, go even thinner. The east of use, plus slickness, plus gloss is amazing. Pretty durable too.

I will def agree with this statement as its one of the best sealents i have ever used.

Northern Tools Fire Nozzle was a complete let down and so were there wide mouth spray bottles

the d/p wheel cleaner for me wasnt very affective.... but dont get me wrong i love d/p products.

- Anything Turtle Wax
- Anything Black Magic
- Anything Armor-All

There are more, but those are the biggest failures.

I actually like the WG Autobathe as well. Suds plenty and is nice and slick. I also have Supernatural, Sonax and Pinnacle and they are all slick, but the difference in all of them is the suds level. I really do not mind less suds, as long as the lubricity is there. (By the way, I use about 2oz for a 5 gallon bucket with the WG)

The product I have been dissapointed with is the Pinnacle black onyx tire gel. While it looks great, it slings so easily. I use so little, and it still slings.

cobra blue micro-chenille wash mitt. Got one,it fell apart at the seems. AG quickly replaced and the same with that one. I bought the Carrand wash mitt and that has held up better.

I could not agree more! Got them on BOGO. On both of them, the inside lining came apart while using them for the first time. Under the lining, it has foam which also fell apart and got stuck all over my microfiber towels I was washing it with. Never again!

Very strongly agree. I bought this product quite some time ago and applied it to my car after working hours to detail. Upon one drive it looked like I went 4 wheeling through the mud.

I figured I must of applied it too heavily. I read the instructions again. It said to let it sit and soak into the rubber to avoid slinging, or something along those lines. I applied it VERY thin using one of those foam tire applicators, and actually went on a trip (not in my car) for 3 days. So it had 3 days to sit and soak into the tires.

Took a drive....you guessed it. 4 wheeling through the mud look. I havent used it since. They should call it Pinnacle Black MUD tire sling.

I've also been disappointed with Poorboys SSR line, but its the ONLY PB products I've been disappointed with. My SSR1 doesn't finish well (leaves marring) and my SSR 2.5 turned as thin as water after owning it 2 weeks. Love all the rest of PB's stuff though.

im a huge pinnacle fan . but have to agree i stop useing this because it slung like crazy.,but i miss the smell my tires used to smell like fruity pebblesIm the MAN

ZEP commercial window cleaner-- no matter what I do, it streaks. Then again I think I just suck at cleaning glass.

Collinite 915- virtually impossible to remove, even with the thinnest hand-applied coat. Not sure if durability lives up to its hype either, as the slickness is gone after only a few weeks.

ONR new formula-- Doesn't seem to have lubricity to prevent swirls at the recommended dosage. Maybe I need to use more?
