    Cleaner Waxes

That's an OTC product, might be better off with #6 in the Professional Mirror Glaze line or #66 as they offer more cut.

    Cleaner Waxes

The ones to look into IMO would be: Megs D151 Megs Mirror Glaze #6 Megs Mirror Glaze #66 Megs Mirror Glaze #20, more of a cleaner sealant, chemical cleaner, non abrasive. D151 would be the top choice IMO, that and or #66 as they are made for production detailing.

Does salt and road chemical cause rust ?

It's more like it will speed up the rusting process if it's not removed... Metal will rust, even stainless steel, the speed that happens depends on what the metal is subjected to.

How to use a one-step cleaner/wax to maximize profits

I did hear it cuts pretty good though, never used it personally. Wonder how it compares to M83...

How to use a one-step cleaner/wax to maximize profits

That a polish/compound more like M83, not really an AIO. :) So you still have to seal or wax after because it doesn't put down any protection.

How to use a one-step cleaner/wax to maximize profits

D151 on and LC Orange or CYAN Pad will cut very well if needed for a one step and leaves a nice finish. Could also step up to MF finishing pad also for really bad ones that don't want to pay for a 2 step correction + wax. But then that's what D151 was made for, production work and it cuts very...

    Does ice effect sealants

Pretty much the same kind of winter weather here in NC as you do. No, it won't really effect the sealants very much once they are cured. Used NXT for years on my vehicles and it never really effected it too much I don't think. We will see how WGDGPS holds up this year on the truck that sits...

How to use a one-step cleaner/wax to maximize profits

Great article Mike as usual. :) :xyxthumbs: AIO's are great IMO and they are terrific time savers, 3 passes usually per section and move after the test spot and pad choice. Hit it with an AIO and top it with a spray wax if needed windows and all get paid and move on. I usually hit the windows...

Guys, any of you have extremely sensitive skin when shaving?

They aren't hard to shave with really, other than don't press down and let the razor do the work. Same basically as the others just with less pressure and shave in straight lines with more passes. They work very well, I shaved with them myself until a few years ago. Never could find an electric...

Here in NC we are supposed to get snow tomorrow night, and they already put salt down early today.... Man was I pissed, here it was like 70 degrees today and sunny and we had salt on the road... Already...... Had to spray down the Jeep when I got home to get it all off then went over it with...

How to clean this damn ROAD SALT!!!

Spraying it off good will remove most of it, either with a hose with good pressure or a pressure washer. Water dissolves salt... Then as was said you can do a regular wash.

Is there a place for Paint Cleansing Products?

If it doesn't need any improvement then a paint cleaner would be best in most cases because they don't abrade the paint. But if you wanted to buff it out while removing the LSP etc then use a light finishing polish with either a polishing or finishing pad depending on what you want done. Just...

Is there a place for Paint Cleansing Products?

Well a finishing polish on a finishing pad will remove the sealants. Something like Megs #205 or WGFG would be good examples. Or you could use WG Paintwork Polish Enhancer, a paint cleaner. One could also use an AIO like Megs D151 on a finishing pad. Could also use a cleaner Sealant like...

    Wolfgang sealant

Best Material For Home Made Car Cover

:iagree: The only thing to use. :xyxthumbs: Or if one can find some 100% cotton sheets, good quality high count stitching. Wash either a few times before using.

    LSP stripping

Also WG Paintwork Polish Enhancer works extremely well and will strip the LSP and or layers of LSP's and clean the paint safely. :xyxthumbs: Can be used by hand or machine. Or one can just use a finishing polish that they likely already have on hand with a finishing pad....
